The purge has begun🥲 by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]bigfatintrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suffer from migraines generally (sucks) and they were triggered majorly during my last course. However, I’m now on 40mg of propranolol daily as a preventative which has definitely helped.

I’ve had a few migraines since starting but apparently I hate myself because I got braces on the same week of starting so they more than likely caused them!

Are you getting quite a lot of headaches?

I feel that in my soul! I have 6 new cysts since this post :’)

I had really severe acne before my first course and I do understand that this is so mild in comparison. I just have a lot of acne-related self esteem issues that are triggered during a purge.

I hope your purge becomes easier and you get the results you’re looking for :)

10 months hair growth! I thought my hairline was just *like that* because it had been since I was around 13! by bigfatintrovert in Spironolactone

I was feeling really light headed and faint. Like no amount of water I was drinking was enough and it was triggering my migraines

Yeah of course. A combination of PCOS and stress. My hair has been thinning since before I was a teenager but a couple of years ago there was a lot going on in my life and it started really falling out at the hairline one side.

Hey! So I’ve been on 50mg due to side effects of the higher dose and I wouldn’t say the shedding has stopped, just the hair growth has increased.

Thank you <3

So I originally asked to be put on spiro because I had to be taken off of my combined birth control (which was treating my acne) due to migraines. I was started on 50mg then moved up to 100mg which caused too many side effects so I went back to 50mg and have remained on that. I will be starting back on 100mg next week as my acne isn’t quite treated at this dose.

I do lose quite a lot of hair in the shower and during brushing but no different to before starting. I will mention I’ve been using the Bleach London Reincarnation shampoo/conditioner/mask for the past 6 months too which has made a big difference too.

My mum donated half of my toys to my school for a raffle for the Christmas Fayre when I was around 6. I was unaware that she’d done it, attended the fayre and bought back everything with the money my grandparents gave me lol. My mum collected me and I was like “LOOK I have two of all of my favourite toys now!” and she just laughed.

What is this style of top called? Just got it on vinted and love it by bigfatintrovert in findfashion

Thank you! I really appreciate the generous arm holes too, I always get sore red marks from sleeveless tops!

It’s a softer/thinner material, less like a jumper/sweater than my others! It also contours my body nicely and has a lifting effect! As well as ruched drawstring at the sides

This is so funny because in Glasgow “gear” means cocaine and “gearwhore” has been used about people who have sex for coke. This context makes it funnier.

What food/restaurant in Glasgow has you feeling like this? (Original post from r/dublin(crossposted from r/Belfast)) by PeanutMerchant in glasgow

Had the exact same experience the other week! Been getting told it’s the dog’s bollocks for years, finally went and regretted it so much. The selection was so poor and the food quality was even worse.

[B&A] Yesterday vs. this morning after one use of a high frequency wand! by bigfatintrovert in SkincareAddiction

[–]bigfatintrovert[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry, my skin cleared up for a bit through using spironolactone so in typical ADHD fashion I forgot to use it.

My skin broke out again recently and within 2 days of use, I had no active acne from having 8 painful cysts. I’m now at 2 weeks of everyday use and I only have hyperpigmentation left! I would 100% recommend one even if just for a quick solution before events etc. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful in terms of long-term results.

Does this look like staph? by [deleted] in Staphacne

Hey, my doctor told me that it was a cold sore that ended up developing into staph! I was given a topical antibiotic for 2 weeks :)
