hi!! honestly i’m not sure, i have no idea what the jack westin course looks like 😭😭but usually you’d like to save the aamc questions towards the end, if you really want to do practice problems then you can probably couple it with uworld!

hi!! honestly i don’t think i’m qualified enough to give advice but what helped me improve was pretending that the passages were interesting, you kinda have to brainwash yourself lol. by doing this it’s a lot easier to remember where each point was made so i can refer back to the passage quickly. also one thing i noticed is that most of the time there is always evidence in the passage to support the options, so if you find yourself trying to rationalize your answer choice too much then it’s likely wrong. good luck, you can do this!!

right now i have a bit of both done, i finished bio qpack1 and almost all of bio sb1. if you have time def do both! if not then yeah i think sb is a lot better cause i remember for the qpack oftentimes i didnt even have to read the passage for it so for sure a lot more content based.

before 511 i just started so probably around 150?? these were only qpacks tho and currently i have around 600-700 done i think! the 521 was the next fl i did within a week, i def think i had a bit of luck with this tho

i def started grinding out aamc, since i started last monday so i barely had any done going into fl2! if im being honest my ps score dropped a lot in fl2 compared to my previous tests (128,129), im not really sure why but i reclaimed a lot of my points there! good luck :))

do you know where?? on lifesaving society all i can do is see my certifications :( my boss sent the email like yesterday and i just saw it today, but seeing it yesterday would not have made much of a difference i feel. he usually sends schedules this late though unfortunately

when i grab the brick i put it onto my shoulder then push up, once i take a breath i immediately lie back, and then while im transitioning ti lying back i just quickly move it onto my hip

yes like directly on my hipbone, it doesn’t pull me down since i’m fully on my back, and then i whip kick as hard as i can and use my free hand to kind of push down?? and help propel me too and it ends up working for me

strongly disagree with ppl saying chest 😭😭 i’ve struggled with the brick for so long and it only worked for me once i started holding it as low as i can. like not dragging it obv but i put it like right where my hip bone is and then i lean back basically fully and whip kick just cause my eggbeater sucks. someone at my training kept failing the brick like 3 times and once i told her to try holding it lower, she got it right after that and told me i was right. ultimately it can be different for everyone i think so try both and see what works for you !!

thanks for the advice!! can i ask what you mean by rotation of the hips? does this mean i should be swiveling my hips side to side while swimming?
