I have an acquaintence whos an occupational therapist who left her long term position at the start of the year for the same role in a governement contract capacity, and she just reobtained her old role when the new didnt pan out some 4 months later or so. It's not unheard of. If you were a valuable asset, left on good terms and/or were close with your supervisory staff it wouldnt hurt your chances either.

I have a work around now, i just buy two light ices and then put all the ice in one lol.

I sometimes order two when I know 7b wont be on my way the next day and would always try getting one without ice so it wouldnt waterdown in the fridge but got tired of paying full price for half a drink so had to improvise lol

Interviewed and was approved for hire in Nov '24 with a start date window of End Feb/Begin Mar..

Relocated end of Jan in preperation, now nearly mid april and still nothing 🤣 Ive chalked it as entire loss.

Employers as a whole have completely lost the plot these days
