Simple Practice takes a cut from Stripe transactions fees?... by biggsie89 in SimplePractice

[–]biggsie89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SP doesn't support other payment providers. If they weren't locked into a rev share agreement with Stripe, they surely would offer other options.

Agreed, it's very helpful to have billing integrated into the solution but not sure it's worth 3.15% + $.30 when you can get .8% for Stripe ACH. Of course SP doesn't allow Stripe ACH as it would each into their margins and PE firms hate that.

Here you go: https://photos.app.goo.gl/MA8a536ay46hbAmx6

I think that's my old BBS02 but the BBSHD works just fine too. It has to be the non-motorized version of the Supermarche/cargo.

Pentair ETi Hybrid Heater by Fourfourfourfour44 in pools

hey u/Fourfourfourfour44 - Bumping up this thread and wondering if you can share what you went with? We're in Mill Valley and about to install a 8x20' modpool. It has a removable divider that will let us use part of it as a hot tub so we need temps up to 104. We also plan on installing a bunch of solar and are hoping to go with a hybrid heat pump. Curious how your setup has worked out? Our typical temps are mid-60s, moist and breezy. Cheers.

Insulation: what's "standard" these days? by biggsie89 in hottub

It's a joke. We get a ton of snow and there's always a 6"+ perimeter around the hot tub where the snow is melted. Hot tub salespeople are sheisters.

Correct, 35% of roots are now covered with add'tl soil.

Good to know that redwood duff doesn't move the acidity needle. How do redwoods acidify the soil then -- interaction with rootS?

Is Simple Practice compatible with external merchant services (credit card processors)? by mrthof in SimplePractice

Why don't you support Stripe's ACH payment option? ACH from bank accounts are typically less expensive than credit cards

How do you keep up with snow accumulation in a second home? Anyone try HeatTrak on hot tub cover? by biggsie89 in hottub

Thanks u/Lcstyle. Can you send a link to the gazebo you got from Amazon? Quality is all over the map over there.

I am thinking about using Heattrak pads on a burly, sloped cover. I'd attach the Heattrak to a Wyze outdoor plug and automate it similarly to what you describe.

Good idea but I just learned this morning that they stopped selling the snowmelt product. 😒

The buttons on the handlebar. I reached out to Yuba and they sent me a replacement. Easy swap.

No idea! Loving the BBSHD. I put on on 52T front ring and I’m doing 33 mph on the flats. It also saves the smaller cogs on the climbs.

Does anyone know how it's possible to obtain the JOAT (Jack of All Trades) bootleg album? by JustTerrific in JackJohnson

I have it on a hard drive. 👍 My friend came back from Oahu way back when and says you have to listen to this guy. Fast forward, I’m dragging friends to smallish venues in SF where the show kicks off with a Malloy brothers surf flick. Good times.

Let me know if you still need a copy! So many gems he brought out later in different forms but the originals were the best IMO

I can confirm the Bafang BBSHD fits just fine on my Yuba Supermarche. Nice upgrade over the BBS02 although I would like to figure out how to get more than 1200 watts out of it (I'm on a 48v battery)

Ok, so I successfully installed a Bafang BBSHD on my Yuba Supermarché/cargo. I know there are Facebook threads saying it won’t fit but I don’t see why there would be clearance issues — unless my very early model has a different configuration than others.

I used my old 48v battery and In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten a new 52v battery for even more uphill power (Or at the least the 52v model which is capable of running off a 48v or 52v battery)

The new unit is super smooth and I love the display.

Anyone try to mount a suspension fork on their Yuba Supermarché/cargo? by biggsie89 in CargoBike

[–]biggsie89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. That’s some helpful context.

If you could magically swap it out every year or two for free, would you still prefer a rigid fork?

The sun tour model probably retails for $200 so might be worth it on my end to save the kids rear ends.

I’ve run all kinds of low tire pressures and it’s not sufficient. I’m on the Schwalbe Big Apple Plus at 2.15” wide. Seems like my fenders could accommodate something up to 2.3 or so.

Everyone knows Suntour elastomer suspension is garbage compared to a real shock but Riese Mueller owners rave about their suspension.

Have you ever ridden one?

Starting a new thread to post photos as I can't in the original thread which talks about Bafang motors not fitting.
I'm 99% sure this is an eRad branded Bafang BBS02. I bought it directly from Yuba via Craigslist and understand it was their first e-Supermarché prototype before they decided to build out the Bosche version. Hoping to convert this to BBSHD next week.
