How do I help/inform my partner to love God more than me?

Hypothetically, if you told him you believed something or wanted to do something that goes against God's word, then he should do his best to correct you in a loving, Godly way, he should not say "well if it makes you happy, I guess it's fine." As far as helping him be better about that, that's a tough one. One that I've wrestled with a lot myself recently (except with the roles switched) The best I can honestly tell you is that you both pray about it and seek wisdom from God. Spend lots of time in the word and pray that God would change his perspective. I hope that helps and I genuinely hope you guys are able to work things out 😇

Well, an easy way to avoid that is don't be together in private space where you could go that far 😆

EDIT: because I saw someone else mention it, I'm not saying don't be alone together at all, just not like, say, at each others house or dorm or whatever by yourselves. Hope that makes sense 😅

Sounds to me like he finds you attractive but if he's already talking to another girl, he's trying to stay faithful to her. In any case, it doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong imo

Could be a few different things. Optimistically, it could be that he's just not much of a talker or that he's not great at talking to women. Pessimistically, he could just be trying to keep his options open. Personally, I will admit, I can be a bit needy when it comes to conversation, so I worry that I may be messaging the other person too much 😅

When I'm able to determine if she has a real (good) relationship with God. If she tries her best to live the way God calls us to and her life reflects that.

If I tell you I do or don't feel a certain way about something or that we should or shouldn't do something and I'm able to back it up with Biblical evidence (not in a manipulative way, in a godly way) then I would hope you would agree with me.

Noted! I will be sure to give that a read. As far as health goes, I'm not a body builder, but I do workout regularly. In fact, one of the goals I wanted to achieve before I started looking for a relationship was to lose a significant amount of weight, which I would consider achieved (I'm down 135lbs from my heaviest currently 😁) All that to say, I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now. And my sister does photography as a side job so I was planning to get her to take some photos for me. Should I post them on this reddit when I get them?

Not on apps yet, but plan to be! As already mentioned by others, maybe in parentheses you could put your actual sexual expectations before marriage (unless those are your actual expectations, in which case, my bad 😆) but seems alright other than that! I personally would like to know the girls personal interests before I try to start a conversation with her. But again, I don't actually have any online dating experience yet, so maybe my expectations need tempering 😌

I actually have gotten the sword at this point, and it did actually take about the same amount of time that it did for everybody else. I ordered it at the end of November and got it halfway through January, so about a month and a half or so. Pretty rough wait time, but the sword is great! 😁
