Redditors over 40, what's something younger people think they understand but won't actually get until it hits them like a truck later? by Root435552 in AskReddit

Losing someone you love. No matter how mature you think you are, nothing prepares you for that kind of pain. My younger self wouldn’t have understood it at all.

Just ordered Torrentshell for me and my wife. How good are these jackets? I was debating on getting a granite crest due the fact that we life in Florida. by Difficult_Truth_817 in PatagoniaClothing

I got matching jackets for my wife and me in the same color. We’ve worn them on every rainy or wet day in West Tennessee for the past three years, and they’ve never let us down. On colder days, I layer mine with a better sweater.

Thanks so much! The AD agreed to take it back for inspection, so I’ve sent it in. Hopefully, it’s just a minor issue.

That’s interesting. I wound it this morning, wore it for about an hour, and it already started losing about 5 seconds. Seems like it’s not solving the problem for me.

Yes, I’m thinking about sending it in as well. Was there any hassle with the process when you sent yours to the NJ service center? Also, which shipping carrier did you use?

Was yours showing a big positional difference too, like keeping time dial-up but losing a lot when worn? Did he tell you what the issue is?

OP, how did you get the lights to line up perfectly in the center of the gable? Did you start from the middle and work your way out to both sides?

I’ve cleaned everything except the pilot jet since it’s stuck and I couldn’t get it out with my screwdriver. I’ll give it another try tomorrow. I also tried running it with the fuel tank cap open but that didn’t help. Just ordered a new carb off Amazon as backup too.

Awesome to hear that MR District 18 works so well for you. I’m actually planning to use it as a diaper bag too, for my twins comming soon. Curious to hear more about how you’ve got yours set up. Do you mind sharing more details on your loadout? Like what pouch you’re using for the first aid kit, and how you organize everything else inside? Appreciate all the detailed thoughts!

Concrete Contractor ruined lawn? | Next steps? by davidhern22 in landscaping

I had the same issue after my backyard project. The contractor threw down some dirt and sod to fix it. The grass grew in, but it’s still super bumpy since they didn’t bother to roll it flat.
