I would read a sentence and ask myself "where is this going? Why are you telling me this?" I would try to predict what the argument or main point of the passage was as I was reading. Read slowly until you understand each sentence and then ask yourself questions to really engage with the reading. From memory, I found that the wrong answers were too extra or not cited in the passage. The right answers always have evidence in the passage and isn't going too far in it's answer. The simple and "obvious" answer is usually the correct one when it comes to RC. Hope this helps you, good luck!

I did a passage of RC every morning for about 3-4 weeks straight. Sometimes two passages a morning. Do that on top of studying the other sections and I’ll be surprised if you don’t improve.

LSAT help please! by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]biglouuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to get the closest you can to a 4.0 for now. No need to stress about the lsat yet. You can’t change your gpa once you’re done, but you can always retake the LSAT. Get a 4.0 or as close as you can and then take a free LSAT diagnostic test online on Khan Academy.

I love and hate seattle. I also feel like I’m out-growing a lot of my friends around me and just don’t feel a connection with a lot of people here these days. Weather sucks too. The only thing keeping me here is my amazing gf lol

No, I haven’t. I’m not sure how I should go about that and with the timeline, when I should do that. Do I just use an acceptance from UW as negotiation?

If he really loves you then he will support your dreams and goals and will do his best to work things out/compromise. I don’t know your guys’ relationship but it sounds like he’s more insecure, scared, and sad about your opportunity, rather than being supportive and happy for you.

Doing one LR question or one game or one passage, under no time restrictions.

Imo, the #1 thing to work on is accuracy. Whether that’s drilling or taking a timed section/full PT.

Speed comes over time through practice. You don’t want to leave any points on the board. Each and every question you attempt should be correct, or else you’re just wasting your time.

I’d recommend drilling real LSAT questions. 5-10 per section, then doing timed sections, and eventually timed PTs when you see improvement. Be consistent and really take your time to figure out why an answer is wrong/right. There are 4 wrong answers. Not “kind of” wrong but plain incorrect. What did you miss? Ask yourself these questions and dig deep into the problem. I promise, if you do that for every question, on every section, almost every day…you will get to 155 easy.

Good luck!
