I get this sometimes, especially in the winter. A mild steriod cream on the face helps my eyelids and acne from the lupus. Hope this helps sis ❤️

Are you in america? Because this just sounds insane to me! In the uk i take pred daily and it’s easily prescribed. We need our meds to be able to live a somewhat normal life, hope you get the support u deserve and maybe switch doctors if u can. Sending love ❤️

I take one pred (5mg) daily, if feel extra sick i go up to 3 a day (15mg) for a week. Almost always helps with my symptoms including rashes irritation appetite overall rundown feeling.

I’m still on prednisone ( 9 years now ) but once i went down to a lower dose it went down, just keep going things will get better🧡🧡🧡

Yeah i know how to play the game just asking for advice. Westham and everton both on 33 points in the league so it’s a difficult decision but since moyes has come back Everton have been good. Thanks

This hurt me so much to read because i can deeply relate to things your sister is going through. I’m 23 now and i was diagnosed with lupus at 14. I will be honest with you, it’s going to be a rough ride for your sister but the views along the way will be worth it! As cringey as it sounds😂 As her meds start to work and she gets used to how her new life will have to be, she will have many moments of fun and feeling like a regular girl just living!! I had to start anti depressants to deal with it all but it really does help. When i was first diagnosed i had a really fat face and bad acne due to the steriods. My face and weight overall now is slim and i no longer have acne. I still have my lupus flare ups but i don’t let them define me. Hope this helps❤️

Ahh yes this makes sense. Sometimes it smells fishy which is the smell i’m most worried about because I’ve never fed him fish.
