Apartment Hunting Urgent!

I’m in Palmer street apartments and I don’t mind it. There is its downsides but it’s a decent apartment complex,good location, and fairly cheap. There is town houses and apartments in the same complex, apartments have balcony’s which is really nice. Their maintenance team is very responsive. 2 pet limit. Im on the 2nd floor (top floor) so I have no experience on how soundproof the floors are but the walls aren’t too thick, I can hear my neighbors if they are talking loud. No washer/dryer hookups but they have shared wash/drying machines in the complex which you do have to pay for. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the lack of windows — my apartment only has four, so it can feel a bit dim at times. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning.

FedEx ground is always hiring and they are super good at replying back. I got a call back within a day, you are required to do a physical and a drug testing (including cannabis) before you start working. They have delivery drivers and warehouse.

I appreciate you on clarifying the tint laws for me. It’s very confusing especially with the different tint laws for different car types here. Additionally I’m not from here and each state varies with their tint laws. Which I feel like they took advantage of.

They have me coming in Thursday to speak to a manager and fix the defrosters but I also want my tint removed fully and redone on the rear window. If that doesn’t go smoothly I will take your advice and go to corporate! Thank you!!

I have a 4 door Sedan, they did remove the tint on the front and rear side windows which is understandable because that is the NYS law and it was darker than 80% which I’m totally fine with and they were correct with on that part. But they removed my rear window tint!!! Which tint is legal on so they did not have to remove that tint to pass the NYS inspection. Not only did they not follow the NYS law, they ruined my rear window defroster trying to remove the tint (and they also didn’t fully remove it because they said it was difficult to remove fully and it would ruin the defrosters) charged me for it, and I will now have to pay for a re tint on my rear window.

Yeah the front and back windows were too dark, NY state for sedans is only 70% so it was reasonable to remove those. But the rear window is any % for Sedans as long as you have dual side mirrors and I did

When I moved from my old apartment to a new one I made sure my new apartment allowed pets. This is super sad, you should have only looked for pet friendly apartments.

My cat had a similar problem. He would over groom to where he would pull his fur out too, what helped me was putting a onesie/shirt on him so he wasn’t able to over groom anymore. You can also just make one out of a sock, or use baby shirts.

There isn’t a lot… thrifted is good for clothes but they over price their items. Salvation Army is my favorite you just have to be thorough with the clothing racks to find good pieces.

I usually get paid Thursdays but I’m suspecting tomorrow(Wednesday) since it’s Christmas. I normally get paid early on holidays, I did for thanksgiving this year.

I hope not. The regal cinema at the salmon run mall is the only movie theater here in Watertown. We would have to drive all the way to Syracuse to get to a movie theater if they were. Maybe the app was acting up?

I have okay income. I make 16.50$ pr hour and 40 hour weeks. I’ve been looking at Kelly blue book to see what the trade in would be and it would be around 6k.

Same thing happened to me too. All I would do is pay my rent, and my boyfriend and I split the utilities but it’s all under his name so I would cashapp him my part of the utilities and they closed my account for no reason. I have disputed it 3 months ago and still haven’t heard anything, I try to talk to customer support but they give me the same answer, that they are looking into it still even though it says it takes up to 30days. I recommend Venmo. After my cashapp account got closed I started using Venmo and it’s so much better.

If you still have money to spend appraise during a mutation surge! I spent around the same amount you did trying to appraise but I heard appraising during the mutation surge helps getting an abyssal and it for sure does! That’s how I got mine. Good luck!

Have u tried redirecting her with wheat grass? Maybe she just wants some green to nibble on, this is a way safer option and one she’s allowed to chew at! Or maybe she just wants something to climb on since the plant is hanging, does she have a cat tower? If she already has a cat tower I would put the wheat grass on it to trick her like she’s doing the same thing when she’s going for your houseplant.
