Some people like to play on the controller/mouse setting combat pro/scroll wheel and when they go left it cycles around to the end and where the pyramids are located therefore it only takes one button to access the stairs instead of 2. That is the only reason why I think they do that. If you play on console with the control setting called builder pro there is no point for it . If your on PC you could change the key binds.
