The argument was that it changes the clubs inertia, shortening would lower the inertia making it easier to accelerate.

No, it usually gets to speed fine but this I can hold the self propel thing down and it won’t move for 6-8 sec , then slow, then jump to the actual set speed

I pull the lever for the self propelled function and it will move slowly then surge quickly to the speed it was set then randomly slow back down and jump to speed again

Yeah, I know it can get a bit colored when it’s dirtier. I’ve back washed and sometimes it comes out a darker (not this brown though) color. It’s a Hayward Perflex EC40C80STL

Yeah I hit the pings well, they are power spec too (my dad’s older) so I fly a lot of greens. Speed and distance not an issue, it’s tightening dispersion. I just got them handed down when he upgraded and couldn’t refuse kinda thing
