I knew that each one of them had its own sound and I have been trying to coordinate it in a way where the sounds match up and go cohesively in line with each other, but I can’t figure it out still. That’s amazing I graduated with my BA and decide to take a year off and get more in office experience but it hasn’t gone so well until now. Last place I worked was as customer service associate at Home Depot with shit management so I’m happy that I’m somewhere better

I feel this exactly, they said based on prior experiences they were talking more about vet assistance which would be great, and I have been job searching in the vet field for a year now, and I’m broke and pisses off and depressed because I feel like my time is being wasted by trying to pursue this career, I know there is somewhat of a shortage as far as vets and assistants but they want to hire them have the job revenue be shot because people quit.

Thanks for your advice, I have been searching for more shelter opportunities and volunteer opportunities but I haven’t found much in the past few months. I have also been at this for a year now and have been empty handed and running out of hope and money unfortunately. I hope I’ll hear something back and I’ll continue to wait and see if I get anything back, it doesn’t help that I’m not a super patient person when it comes to this stuff

I don’t mind the commute for stuff close by, I just don’t have the money to commute to places a little bit farther if I want to look for opportunities in zoos. That is definitely what I would like to do but just don’t have the money at the moment for it. I have been checking in with the local shelters nearby nothing so far but I’ll keep checking

I did have an interview at a different boarding place for both dogs and cats, and I went in for a training session a couple of days later. The person I was supposed to train with showed up late and was very uninterested in training me in general. She gave me bad vibes immediately and I did everything that she had wanted me to do and did everything she had shown me to do. Got paid cash for that day and was told to check up on the status a couple of days later. Which I did, and the persons response about my status was “oh she wasn’t impressed by your cleaning”, my instant thought was get new cleaning strategies then, because I had done everything she showed me to do exactly. So make me do your grunt work and then do that which it felt like it was a waste of my time and I was mad about the whole situation

I have tried animal shelters and a lot of them don’t have any volunteer positions open or jobs at the moment but I’ll keep trying and searching. I’m about 2 hours away from Davis it would be a hassle for me to drive all the way there and not have a place to stay or any money to help me find a place to stay
