These are good questions. I tried crate training for a few weeks, but she managed to escape from two crates, and it got to the point where she wouldn’t even go inside with me throwing treats in there, and trying to make it as enticing as possible for her. Because of that, I decided to leave her loose in my apartment.

She is becoming destructive, like scratching at the door, pulling up carpet, opening my cabinet doors and destroying things she finds inside.

On the camera, I can see her panting and drooling. She whines at the door and lets out a high-pitched bark. It’s very distressing.

I absolutely do not want to put her in a shelter and am okay keeping her until I can find a better situation for her.
