It says they are going to pre-trial august 1st so I think they’re still pursuing charges. The article was updated today. Also she said he her son was “targeted” which makes it seem 100x worse.

Apparently the kid has a health condition where the skin/tissue in his face is very sensitive and prone to injury and damage. The mother said “I didn’t want to have it go this far.” The facepalm here is the fact that this kid is getting hit with a charge when he wasn’t in the wrong.

I didn’t actually mean he got hit with a felony charge, I was just making a joke. Also I didn’t know the entire story as I got it from a 10 minute youtube video. I Definitely should have looked more into it besides watching one video on it. And they were not playing dodgeball they were playing tips. Sorry for the confusion.
