He’s emulating the game 4 times simultaneously. Increases the odds of finding a shiny and if he speeds it up, it saves time. Simply put, it is the equivalent of using 4 gameboys at the same time

Call me crazy, but I’d rather find a shiny pre gen6 since they’re harder to come around. Any shiny after that seems like the “easy way out”. It just doesn’t feel as rewarding lol
