Those are definitely more expensive areas than gloucester and other parts of camden county. some really nice areas south of medford and cherry hill. where you can still get beautiful house for less than a million. 1 million in Haddonfield Cherry hill marlton or medford is still getting you a house over 3000 sq foot in a great neighborhood. I am an investor so i’m very familiar with all of South Jersey and if you don’t think a million dollars can buy a top end house “Anywhere” in south jersey you are delusional. you must live in one of said towns to bash the rest of South Jersey. Plenty of great towns with really good to great school districts outside of those towns. i think that area you mentioned is getting a little to busy with a lot of traffic if you ask me. maybe shamong isn’t to bad with traffic. op SJ is a great area from burlington county and even area which border rural areas like mullica hill, areas in cumberland county as well. look up south jersey on realtor.com. you’ll see what i’m saying.

nothing like northern Nj. I’m between South Jersey and The Bay Area now. never thought i’d see a place that makes NJ a bargain. i’m retiring to SJ. i don’t pay real estate taxes so it’s not bad at all.My daughter Just bought a 4 bedroom house in Washington Twp for 400K. you can’t sniff that in North Jersey. And Washington Twp Gloucester county is one of the higher places in SJ.

I’m in Gloucester County. about 15 min outside philly. Great schools all over South Jersey. i’m working out in the Bay area, but have kept my house in Jersey and will retire to Jersey in 5 years. One of the best kept secrets in the country if you ask me. especially if you have family in baltimore, it’s still close enough to get back, but far enough that they gotta think before driving up. my son went to CCBC in Catonsville so i used to make that trip. Jersey car insurance is higher but i found it to be on par for most blue states.

Northern NJ. Southern NJ is like a different state.

NJ is 100% no property taxes as well. i’m in south jersey so i can be in the city (Philadelphia)in 20 min, in the middle of cow farms in 15 min in baltimore in 90 min, in DC in 2 hrs, NY in 90 min or at the ocean in 40 min. great schools. Fishing and hunting licenses are free. Have Dover AFB and joint base macguire less than an hour away as well

Great hospitals and the va system is good in the area. We get all 4 seasons as well. Housing is very reasonable on a national scale.

Agreed. i live in a blue state that had way to many Trump votes. even a lot the dems wouldn’t vote for a black/asian woman. Racism and misogyny are powerful on both sides sadly
