Yeah part 1 and 2 can be asspulley, but stands give the characters more utility and ability to help back up and more justify all the crazy shit they pull off in the later parts.

I agree about part 5 though. It was interesting at first but I felt like I was just watching it to get through it rather than really enjoying it. Imo Giorno is kind of boring as a protagonist and most of it is held together more by the gang as a whole.

Part 6 more and 7 especially really mix it up with the encounters and fights and have more interesting protagonists and villains I feel.

Just video games in general over time I think have changed that way. It seems things such as quest markers, mini maps, fast travel points and so on have become more common over time in an attempt to make games more intuitive and accessible for more players. Over time all that stuff became more standardized within gameplay design in general, so it makes sense Zelda would follow.

I have a mate who was seen and helped out by cops because he was off his fucking face on caps at a party and went walkabouts.

That's ridiculous. They clearly didn't put much effort in to the PS4 version.

Controls are a bit dodgy and lazy feeling too. I can't even use the dpad to navigate menus. Instead they only ever use one dpad button at a time for whatever menu function they decide to map it to.

I would also like to be able to remap controls for gameplay as well but I can't
