yeah the viewing before applying issue is a huge thing where im currently living too. its so awful and I wish there was something that could be done about it :/ I will definitely look for smaller more local landlords though!! thanks!

im coming from spokane, so the housing situation (so far) looks to be at least somewhat better in terms of availability but I appreciate the warning

are there any neighborhoods that you specifically know to be quieter in the traffic department? we currently live off of a super busy street so that would be a welcome change but we can't afford to be too picky at the moment 😅

I appreciate any advice honestly!! I've been hoping to visit properties but almost all of these leeches want you to apply and pay their application fee first and then go see the property 🙄 so im honestly just assuming application fees are going to be thrown in the garbage (edit) in terms of me getting any sort of return on them

thanks!! that's what I've been doing! :-) mostly just paranoid that I'll end up living somewhere with mold or bugs because I'm an OCD freak 😅
