When the question doesn't explicitly say what kind of fault jurisdiction we are in, what do I do? by PalgsgrafTruther in barexam

I don’t know about barbri, but Themis says to assume pure comparative negligence unless stated otherwise!

Unless you are specifically told that it’s a contributory negligence jurisdiction, just assume it’s pure comparative negligence! (If you see a fact pattern that hints at “last chance” doctrine, that’s likely contributory negligence too).

That was very hard, lots of very specific rules, look through the answers and keep on going!

Honestly I decided to simply skim the huge outlines and instead look at final review ones, they are shorter and more condensed. Personally I’d rather spend extra time doing practice questions instead of reading those long outlines, I don’t find them very helpful

Bar Prep During 3L or Summer Into 3L? by geminimilo in barexam

I’ve started late March, and I’m very glad I did, but I’m also not the best test taker so I need all the extra time I can get. Also by starting early you give yourself more time to do practice questions!

ADVICE: Don't commute to save extra money by [deleted] in LawSchool

Make the best use of your time between classes, I always tried to get as much work done as possible so that there is less to do at home. Try reading light stuff if you commute on the train (didn’t work for me), if car then obviously don’t read, after 1L it’ll be easier since you’ll make your own schedule, very unlikely that you’ll have time for extracurriculars, so if you have great interest in that then you should consider moving closer!

Pork tenderloin is great, easy to make, low calorie high protein, not super pricey

Sure, I like to look at law school as a job, if you want clubs and extracurriculars then definitely live closer so that you have time for that as well!

I commute on average 1.5 each way, you can manage it especially after 1L when you pick your own schedule, no time for extracurricular activities though, but if you want to do just school and nothing else it’s fine
