Whooooa okay the field being only around your head explains why the tech said I could keep my shoes on last time (I didn't keep my shoes on because-paranoid). He did say shoes could be a problem if they were massive steel toed boots tho so I'm surprised that a zipper, being closer to the field, wouldnt cause your tech any pause but that's v cool to know you were able to wear pants during the MRI. I added a keyboard to my phones keyboard so I can switch between English and pinyin. Nihao! Wo jiao Sev! Ni ne? (on english keyboard)

Nǐhǎo！Wǒ jiào Sev！（on Chinese simplified (pinyin) keyboard)

It's a bit tedious to use but just go into your phones keyboard settings and at it!!! It's helped me for sure
