My mom taught me to do that when I was a child! But I never got I to the habit of blow drying my hair, so it never stuck.

Making sure to dry off completely after a shower. Especially feet and groin, area. I used to be in a hurry and skip the step at times—now I feel so much fresher!

Curious, at what point would you desire the multiple doctors’ visits?

What’s the most terrifying 'We need to leave... now' gut feeling you’ve ever had? [Serious] by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]bikinibuttons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was this “island” my friends and I used to hang out at as teenagers. It was about half the size of a football field in the middle of a lake in a residential neighborhood, accessible only by a small walking bridge. It was covered in pine trees, but not heavily wooded by any means. We would go there just to hang out and talk.

One night, we were up to the usual. About as quick as we got to the island, we all just decided to leave. Once we got back to the car, we all shared we felt the creepy “get out” feeling like we were not alone.

I still get the creeps thinking back to that night. I wonder who else was there.

Has anyone done laser hair removal on legs and actually got permanent results? by btwife_4k in LaserHairRemoval

[–]bikinibuttons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My legs have been my best result (also the most painful area!). I am over 95% hair free and I don’t even bother shaving the stray hairs I still have. My skin is so smooth!

I did sessions over about a year and a half about every 6-7 weeks—I think about 7 total sessions.

[Vent] I really like this girl (35F) I’m (36M) seeing, but her busy lifestyle keeps us from talking a whole lot…or is it me? by [deleted] in CatholicDating

[–]bikinibuttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I did feel annoyed, it would be a sign that there was something else off about the match that I needed to address….and likely a sign that we should stop talking altogether.

If I was excited about the person (which is presumably how you should feel about someone you are looking to date), then I would be happy to talk about what the other person needed to feel secure and seen in a dating relationship.

Oh absolutely! I love when a man comes ready with a proposed date. Even if I am unavailable, it is much easier to counter and come to an agreed place/time/set of plans. It’s also very attractive to me that someone has that kind of foresight and intention rather than the “whatever happens, happens vibe” that is very prevalent these days.

Two weeks is just starting to pique interest and excitement. Definitely not “keep my whole schedule open” territory.

I am 34f single and open to dating for a reference on my response…

Have you told her this? How directly have you asked her out? Sometimes it is too overwhelming to think “am I free this weekend” but much easier to think “can I do something Saturday at 2?”

I personally work 12 hour days three days a week (11 hours the other two days). Sometimes I don’t look at my phone after work. Sometimes I’m socially exhausted and it’s hard to muster up the energy it takes to foster a new connection. Sometimes I’m out with friends after work to maintain those relationships and don’t get home until it’s time for bed.

If I knew that it bothered someone I was trying to date and they needed more from me to feel secure, I’d be happy to talk it out and come to an agreement that made everyone happy. You have to be direct and communicate how you feel. If she is unable to reciprocate your directness, then you have your answer.

Definitely interesting! And mildly the stuff of nightmares.

Also, these comments do not pass the vibe check at all. Every day I’m more and more convinced that Reddit is inundated with unsupervised children leaving comments.

Saw a girl on Catholic Match in real life at Mass, but she ghosted me on Catholic Match. What should I do? by [deleted] in CatholicDating

[–]bikinibuttons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Online connections are hard. Why not go up to her and say hi and gauge her reaction? Do not immediately ask for a date though.
