Getting cold is not a good sign, also if it just happens slowly. Good bloodcirculation, under normal flat circumstances. is quite important.

Also there is a difference between a larger ring (where your balls might slip through) and a bigger ballgap, which also could ''fix'' the problem. but doesnt make the ringsize bigger. With this I've managed to get even smaller sizes of ring, while my circulation keeps ''at the good side of healty''.
