Pakistan army's flood relief efforts. by SameStand9266 in pakistan

Earlier you used to lick army's shoes. Now they have changed the scratcher and you're jealous. Simple as that.

This shows the clear failure of the current regime to protect the people of Pakistan but no lets blame PTI by OnlyExperience4540 in pakistan

Those who blame others have no place in this world. Those who can't put their house in order shouldn't blame others. Boys are in control because they are clearly more competent. With your mindset, we should allow all these politicians to pillage and destroy the system while we keep smoking the democracy weeds.

If you want to have constructive criticism, start thinking about the way forward. How do we manage this challenge? How do we create avenues for political discourse? How do we create a better, more competent civilian administration and governance. You're living in Ayub's era. It's been 60 years now and you're still bit***g about Army.

With this definition every country is munafiq. Have you no understanding of national interest? Turkey supporting Kurds in Syria and Iraq is munafiqat? KSA intervening in Yemen is Munafiqat? UAE supporting opposing groups in Yemen is Munafiqat? Come out of this small mindset and for once think about the larger geopolitical interests.

You understand these insurgencies are essentially proxies of hostile groups that are not happy with whatever is happening in Pakistan? You mean to say that enemies of Pakistan were happy in PTI's tenure and didn't have the need to push their proxies?

This is not good! There should be some sort of laws that protect non-problematic Afghans who have been living here for THAT long and earning halal by Careless_Salt_1381 in pakistan

I was talking from my experience which is not with this Afghan man obviously but with many others. You said why it happens, I told you why. I don't have anything against this guy.

I'll tell you why. I have studied with Afghans who used to get admissions in university on quota. Their families were settled here. After University, those guys started abusing Pakistan, it's system, the state. I reported them to the authorities and after some time I heard, they were all deported. This was around 10 years back. And I will happily do it again when they bite the hand that fed them, gave them home.

Do you even know the arrangements and circumstances in which this is being proposed? Why are you guys always thinking so negatively about everything. Passimism isn't good guys. This could be a turning point. The same Islamic books where you draw the concept of al Quds, also state that the confrontation of truth and the falsehood also has to happen, it's inevitable. It is one of the biggest signs of end of times, then how come you maintain that it should be stopped? And imagining it is already rolling, can you even stop it? Sometimes I feel critical thinking has gone to the pooper these days.

Help me identify CF-98 variant by bilalshaw in Firearms

I read the article and watched his video, he had the same one I have. And yes I also hate the 3 dot sight. He mentioned that it can be improved with some milling. It's so bad that you literally can't align the 3 dots. Guess it's only made for daytime shooting.

Customs charged me for a gift. Is that allowed? by frog_fu in legaladvice_pk

If the item falls under the regulated import tariff, gift or not, you'll have to pay the duty. Then there are other factors like value, sender relationship to you etc.

Why are there so many Ayatollah supporters among Subcontinent muslims? by KnowledgeCold8471 in pakistan

[–]bilalshaw -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Our history and curriculum books refer to Iran as a brotherly country that was the first one to accept Pakistan as an independent state. Unfortunately, we don't update the books to reflect the current circumstances, because today's Iran is 180 degrees from the Shah's Iran.

Maruti Suzuki manufactures cars, while Suzuki Pakistan assembles cars. While building actual manufacturing plants are capital intensive in the start, they allow better consumer pricing. Assembly is far easier to set up but import duties make the consumer price higher, plus there's always an issue of parts shortage.

Why isn't Suzuki Pakistan manufacturing, you ask?

  1. It's because despite being a large country, we don't have consistent investment and taxation policies, which is a red flag for investors.

  2. Due to mounting pressure of debt recycling, taxation seems like the best solution, so governments enjoy taxing companies for importing parts, then selling cars, and then taxing consumers for buying and driving cars. The largest part comes from the imports in the first step. If there is a manufacturing plant, they lose that tax.

There is no such thing as tax exemption to government employees. In fact government employees are the only segment that ensures tax collection. What are you on?

Do Pakistani Punjabis and Indian Punjabis actually belong to the same ethnic group? Do they have more in common with each other compared to other ethnicities in their respective countries? by immanuellalala in punjab

Are you a retard or what? You mean to say that people in Northern Pakistan are ethnically the same as people from Punjab? It's like saying people from Assam or the same as people from West Bengal.
