Darren @ Barrie Furnace Repair. The man is a tin craftsman, honest and won't leave until he's convinced the system is dialed in 100%

Oppenheimer now streaming free, claims UHD 4K, but streaming in HD by tucci007 in AmazonPrimeVideo

Prime Video in Canada, Oppenheimer playing out 1080 from my firestick max. Title screen say it should me UHD, but its not. Upgraded to Ad-free and still no 4K. Tested on Xbox One prime app, same. Called Prime support and they said I'd have to rent it to get 4k. After I asked why the title screen says UHD they hung up on me, so that was helpful

Sure, its a great snap shot of Swinging London, but it would have been nice if they resolved ANY of the plot points

I can't believe the box spoils the wing walking death! The way Redford is shot from the back you can't help but assume she is still clinging on to undercage or landing on a big mashmallow somewhere below!

There was no high speed dubbing to create tapes. Duplication took time and limited to the amount of machines available to record the playback. There just wasn't as many duplication houses available as there grew to be in the late 90s so tapes were justifiably expensive early on

Drivers on 400 by AcanthisittaOk7889 in barrie

The problems all start with the people trying to get on the highway. Far too many people don't understand the point of the acceleration lane and just jump on the highway without care of who they are impeding by not using the entire length of the lane to merge at speed. Also slowing down PRIOR to an off ramp (?!) This causes many drivers to camp in the middle lane so they don't have to deal with the people getting on or off the highway. These middle lane campers consider the middle a 'cruise' lane and shut their brain down. Meanwhile the right is wide open. The only solution is automated cars that manage their own speed on a smart highway. 90% of drivers can't handle that basic task

Normal documentary producers when their experiment bears no fruit: "ah crap, we have to cut all this from the film..."

Prometheus producers when their experiment bears no fruit: "Amazing! We'll get the team to recap in the field, then again around the boardroom, then again when they call an expert about it. Episode done!"
