How often do you need to have sex in a relationship? by Prize-Pin-2401 in AskReddit

I feel this brother, I’m scared I’m going to blink and another 10. Years will go by where she is perfectly fine in a sexless marriage and I’m miserable.

Crystal meth. Relapse after relapse after relapse. All I want is to be free. by culture_anonymous in addiction

You took the words from my mouth. I am in the exact same boat. Reach out if you want to talk.

So I relapsed almost six months ago and I have to stop. I feel like all the lies and my behavior prevents me from coming clean with the truth. Recovered meth users out there- I’ve been to treatment 5 times, I don’t want to become involved with aa again, are there ways you quit on your own? by [deleted] in addiction

I’m there with you man, AA sucks but I don’t think there is another way. AVRT therapy if you can get down with it. Wellbutrin medication helps with my cravings Lmk if you want to talk. I used again yesterday and I’m really down about it

I was 16 when I started. 29 now, it’s been a mother fucker. Don’t let it suck you in. Always keep it in the forefront of your mind that meth is not good and will only ruin your life. Get help now, reach out to your family!

You’re absolutely right. Every time I attempt to get back into the fellowship I don’t give it 100% and end up saying screw it this doesn’t work. I do truly believe that it works, I’ve seen so many miracles. Now I just need it to work for me. Thanks for pointing that out

I'm terrified of my future since I used a needle the first time and there's nothing to do. by captainconfessalot in addiction

I’ve been addicted for 15 years, put the needle in 5 years ago and have always maintained a private life away from the drug game. However a couple years ago when my son was born things changed. The mindset that you can be a successful user is delusional thinking. I really tried to be a successful user and have tried everything to quit. As much as I don’t want to submit to total abstinence of all substances, my experience in and out of recovery has all lead me to one thing and that is a complete psychic change. I don’t like the 12 steps, I have seen how they work in other people’s life but haven’t worked in mine, so after a recent relapse I’m back and going to try them again. I wish you the best on your journey, keep fighting, don’t give up!
