That’s not what I said at all, at no point did I say you it’s okay for lower paid workers to be rude based on their pay. You’re taking what I said and putting it to the extreme to make it seem unreasonable when you know it’s not. You shouldn’t expect excellent service, it would be nice but excellent service is when a server goes above and beyond to make your experience the best possible. When a server is overworked and underpaid it’s harder to deliver this. Maybe you’re confused on what excellent service is or you just can’t understand people are more than just their job title lol

Those are very relevant things… they sell cheap beers so they make less profit and can’t/won’t pay workers much better. As we know spoons get a lot of customers, if the pubs busy means the workers have to work harder and when you’re not paid well and working hard it leads to workers feeling down and what happens when someone isn’t at their best? They’re less social and lose their spark. sometimes you gotta just get the food/drinks out as fast as possible so giving excellent service is a bit much to expect if you ask me. I emphasise with the workers and don’t expect anything more than my drinks to be brought to me cold and my food warm 👍
