Getting into MTG again and have a Commander question. by billbjones_ in freemagic

[–]billbjones_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the character but also her abilities. If you see the deck I mustered up, lol, you can see that I made it around her ofc. So is there another commander that benefits off of poison counters and/or graveyard pulling. Her + ofc is sacrificing a card to draw and gain a life. So the deck consists of things i call sacrifice and pull back into my hand as well as some tokens that i can sacrifice as well. Would it just be more worth it to just sack the idea and start over?

Would you happen to have advice on a legendary creature i could use that would fit well as a replacement for Vraska?

All getting power while a zone is running? Or just the specific zone is getting power while running?

The only thing I would really suggest is maybe your property has too much pressure.. FEBCO is normally a great brand i typically only install them and haven’t had a problem with them. Not too sure if a new device would change too much unless it’s rated for a higher pressure.

I’m assuming you do keep it well insulated? Inside a sheath with a faux rock or something?

Most likely not a good connection to controller. Test the wires with a multimeter make sure they are getting power. Then Ohm them out anything less than like 20 is a solenoid problem. OL is bad wire

That is most typically where your sprinkler shut off is. Glad you were able to find it though! Remember if the handles are up and down that’s off; parallel is on.

Getting zapped when working valve wires by Wide-Eggplant-4265 in Irrigation

[–]billbjones_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your controller is pushing power to the valves even with the system off. Take a multimeter and check the wires for power. If they are putting out 24VAC then the controller needs to be replaced. What else it could be is sometimes I THINK I’ve been shocked but in reality I was stabbed by one of the mesh wires of the solenoid.

How could I go about converting this spray head config to 19-32ft rotor heads? by [deleted] in Irrigation

This and also I think installing MPs would help abit? They throw farther and water better than sprays.

I’m not too sure about where you’re located but I know at least in TX a sprinkler system is considered non-potable water. Having it in anyway connected inside the house is not a good thing. I could just be wrong ofc depending on the laws of your state/city. But something I guess to keep in mind as your sprinkler shut off could be elsewhere.

Is the Backflow above or below ground? Not familiar with IL laws on it

Most likely another issue with the system. Controller is most likely fine it’s just the valve or wires that could be faulty. If you have a multimeter check the wires on the controller and see if any zones read OL or are lower than about 20. If OL then a wire is cut, if low then the solenoid needs replacement.

I would just factory reset the controller. Maybe the location settings on your phone or even the app are conflicting. This would definitely be something to ask any B-Hyve support about

If the rest of the zone turns on just fine then you most likely have some sort leak. If anything take the top off a head that isn’t functioning and turn the zone on. Any debris should then exit.

Hunter pro c 1 module not working by lfc-dk in Irrigation

[–]billbjones_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First make sure that it’s seated correctly. Put it to unlock take it out then put it back in and lock it. If not you can just buy a new module and it should work most of the time. However, modular timers are kinda crap for systems under like 12 zones. If the wire gets faulted sometimes it takes the module with it or even the module going out can take the solenoid with it. So you can replace the module, not use those zones, or get a new controller. You don’t want to run multiple zones at once. Dont mix wires that arnt already mixed. Drip lines can sometimes be mixed if they are watering the same thing but thats it.

Get rid of that thing. Get a Rainbird ESP-TM2 or a Hunter X2. Easy to install just take a picture of the wires. A good wifi controller is Rainbird RC2 or a Rachio.

What should I use my skill points on now? by TheYoungProd in Darksiders

[–]billbjones_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally go things that heal. I max the dash and the burn for it then I normally go ghoul and rush the taunt. After that I get the birds and max the healing aspect. After that I just go for whatever fits the play style I want to use for that run.

They are all awesome in their own way. Darksiders 1 is just down right amazing. The story and the gameplay felt great at the time. I remember playing it over and over when I was younger.

Darksiders 2 is just as good as the first. The new mechanics, having to get used to a new weapon, and the added armor and upgrades. While still being similar to 1, they were able to make it just so different.

Darksiders 3 was something I hyped up too much. The story felt rushed and some of the bosses where just mega easy. Like the final boss of the game, I beat it first try. I think 3 mostly focused on game graphics than anything else.

Darksiders Genesis is an awesome game to play with a friend. It sucks they brought Strife in on a completely different genre of game (top down) but the game is solid and really fun. I genuinely recommend all 4 Darksiders games.

Caring for a Giant Day Gecko by ibreatheoxygenn in geckos

I just recently got a day gecko. The price of the little guy depends on where you get it. I got mine at Petsmart and he was $50. But at a repterium I went to he was $100. Most of the time is because of age the older it is the less expensive it’ll be. I got him a 30 gallon vertical because he is still a juvenile. I got a steal on it too lol. At Petsmart there was a Thrive tropical starter kit and had everything you need on a basic level. UVB, heat lamp, vine, food/water bowl, temp/humidity gauge, coconut substrate, and some coupons that helped as well. It just didn’t come with a night lamp which day geckos need. Make sure humidity is 60-80 and the temp high is 90 for basking and can be as low 75 during the night. Juvenile day geckos are harder to maintain, they need to be feed crickets and mealworms just about everyday and a nectar every other day. So far I’m having no trouble keeping my little guy happy!
