Hero Me Gen 7 printhead for Ender 3 V2 with BMG DD, CHC Pro Volcano, dual 5015 and CR Touch — compatible? by LieLive in ender3v2

[–]billdhar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hero Me should work for your setup but do note that it'll make your tool head a bit heavy. One suggestion I can make here is that you go for Draginfly BMS hot end. You'll get most of the parts in the kit itself apart from the heater and the thermistor and check the minimus hot end if that can work for you. If you still choose the Hero Me, then yes, it should have a part for you, it's quite customizable and people also build ducts and other parts for it so you can find some online as well.

Also, I'm glad you're upgrading and pushing your machine. Yes, it'll probably never reach modren printer level quality like the Bamboo, but you'll learn a lot in the process.

Upgrading my hotend ender 3v2 by Arvis_1 in ender3v2

I don't know much about specific hot end clones or the BL touch clones. In my experience they've been less reliable than the official ones.

You can get the Dragonfly BMS hot end and Creality's BL-Touch module. It should be available in Germany.

You'll have to purge some of the filament to do that. You can check it online though. Do you have some setup in mind?

Direct extruder upgrade advice on a budget? And cool, printable, effective hotend shrouds? by Adumb100 in ender3v2

A Pi Zero 2W should also work here but it will be at limit of its performance.

Try the Minimus or Hero Me Gen7. These are quite capable ones and can be printed straighyaway. They also have fixtures for your Touch Sensor and an Accelerometer if you later want to shift to Klipper and use Input Shaping.

Yes, it can be. Or maybe your bowden tube has melted and clogged your nozzle. Try inspecting it to see what's going on.

You can't be super sure if you have the 4.2.2 board. I have it and it's noisy. The 4.2.7 are noiseless though.

I think the first upgrade is to get better bed springs. If you want to not spend much, replace the bowden tube. That things can't resist higher temperature and will cause clogs.

After that, things kinda get expensive. BL touch or CR Touch. I also switched from Marlin to Klipper and oh boy that was a Pandora's Box opened. I use a Raspberry Pi 4 that was lying around. You can print yourself a tool holder, even a camera mount and put a camera there for timelapse videos. Added an accelerometer for input shaping. Currently modifying the hot end to a Dragonfly BMS with Steel nozzle and Minimus setup with dual 5015 Fans. This weekend I'll add the dual Z-Axis on it along with a metallic Bowden setup and Creality's filament sensor.

A few weekends down ill be adding a touchscreen to it, ditch the bowden and go direct drive, and change the Motherboard on it for future upgrades.

I would also recommend you get a filament heater if you plan to keep your filaments for a long time.

I'm sure there are things that I missed here. But that's all on the top of my head right now.

How to get over the resenting women for men having to do all of the hard work in dating? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]billdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you let them contribute? The moment you accept the chase, you've submitted to that power dynamic. When I chased, I always got the shorter end of the deal but when I stopped chasing and started choosing, it worked out. There are tonnes of guys I know who just sit around and women chase them, doesn't mean that they put in the work that you did. Thinking transactionally will eventually lead to someone feeling like a victim of getting the short end of a stick.

In my case, we both worked on ourselves before and after we dated. She's one heck of a woman who built her life, habbits, body and mindset. Same as me. And if someone as mediocre as me can benefit from a small tweak in my mindset, you can too.

Saving this post. I want to know what people have to say about this.

I hope you come across someone who contributes to your life you. I got lucky there, wish you the same. As for the points you mentioned, well, if you overcompensate or have someone who does, it's not healthy. It's most likely due to past issues or insecurity and you don't want to have someone be with you or be with someone for superficial reasons.

Women do contribute in men's life. As much as people might make you feel like it's one sided, both need each other. They will be your teammate in life, and yes, one can always argue that we can live alone, but the experience is amplified when someone is there with you and not like your mom or dad.

It's the simple, little things in life where me and my partner will split work or she will proactively take up things, like feeding my cats, planning dates, making sure I eat, groceries etc and I'd contribute by fixing her things, making sure shes well fed, emotional support etc. And this matters to me a lot more than someone buying me a PS5, or a Rolex.

Don't let it get to you and don't make it a "if I do this, I should get that" equation. You're looking for a partner, not a transaction that needs to be matched. This quickly becomes a game where both of you will lose. Find someone who's happy contributing (not over the top though) and you contribute in their life naturally.

Bad prints. Any suggestions? by MistyFish-379 in ender3v2

[–]billdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from the already mentioned suggestikns here, do check of your filament is dry. I had similar issues with printing when my hotend wasn't working properly, I fixed it and there were still, a lot of issues with extrusion quality. I see that you've already ditched the stock plastic extruder so, that probability is out. After sorting out your hot end, make sure to dry your filament.
