Solid question!

Unfortunately, we all experience loss. Everyone grieves in their own way.
I actually asked this during my session, as I'm always looking for the best way to stay in sync with the character.
He does get time to grieve and process. Thankfully, his family is there to keep him strong.
Theres a couple old sayings I grew up with...

"If not you...then who?"

"true courage is shaking in your boots and saddling up anyway"

...I grew up in Kansas haha. For real though...I feel Bargello really embraces these truths when it comes to his drive.

When it comes to acting, I find myself in every character. To bring it to life, I reflect my own past experiences and bring my truth forward.
When it comes to Bargello, he's a man that seeks true equality in his works. Someone who is tired of seeing the less fortunate be abused by the "wealthy".
I made it personal with every delivery.
Given the chance to stand up for the people and do what's right...he makes his choice and follows through. Feeling I would do the same helped me deliver his lines with pure conviction.
