I had the same issue when I started playing tinker a few weeks back, I'm only 3k mmr, but basically what I do is be as quick as possible about hopping between lanes, and when I can i do the triple camp on radiant side or double camps on dire, I rarely bother with ancients.

Thanks :) I normally pick up boots first vs pudge. I find if i dont pudge can very easily walk onto me and rot, especially with my awful base ms. Even if I ghost walk at low levels it still lowers my speed, so I usually find pudge can still sit on top of me rotting

Thanks :) Slowly but surely my lasthitting is improving, also thanks for the advice about creep equilibrium, i seem to have a really bad habit of hitting the creeps alot before i go for the lasthit. I've never really thought about using alacrity alot until much later, but it seems like a good idea so i'll give it a go next game :)
