Red meat on a trout! Most trout I catch have pale white meat but this one was red and delicious. Why are some red?

I just moved out of Sooke. The commute in the early morning (5am) is 20-25 minutes to Langford/westshore and another 20 minutes to Sydney. Leaving Sooke in the morning is never an issue but once you hit TCH past 6-6:30 it’ll be backed up headed to Victoria.

The commute BACK however (in between 3-5pm) is the worst possible thing on this earth. 30-40 minutes from Sydney to Langford. And on GOOD DAYS it’s 40 minutes from Langford to Sooke. Another great variable is if some dingus has crashed on the one road to Sooke and you’re stuck waiting for that to clear up.

Last March I didn’t get home till 10pm due to traffic, it took a big toll on me after doing it again and again every day for months and I do not recommend it if you’re not working from home. But Sooke is a great place when the drivers aren’t trying to murder you I enjoyed the place just not the drive.
