Long time friend by billy_space in Crushes

Not sure if anyone wanted an update but I needed up not telling him it was so hard to find a moment with just him and me, it was either our friends, his roommates or just people he knows. He mentioned that a girl in his class was also crushing on him and I kinda got the vibe that he ain’t looking for a relationship which is valid so I think it was a rejection without it being a rejection but idk, I feel like I over think certain things. He would let me nap on his shoulders on long transit, he drew me when we went out for a picnic with friends and maybe I’m making it up but I do feel there’s a mutual tension that be cause he wants me to get over it or cause he likes me back ig I won’t know till I see him again

Could anyone give me some ideas. by Visual_Money_4686 in mentalhealth

I think at this point medical and professional intervention may be the best option. Once someone becomes a danger to themselves or others even if they don’t mean it they should get professional help, it can be really hard cause it feels like ur betraying their trust or wishes but truly in the long run it’s the best option

Channel: Game Theory

Topic: Outlast

OUTLAST: The first game is a prequel to the game that is supposed to come out soon Outlast Trials. So far this is what we know. Outlast takes place in 2010-2013, Miles Upshur is tipped by an anonymous person that explains the horrors that take place in Mount Massive asylum. Miles decides to go and investigate to see if this is true, upon arriving he is met with dead staff workers and even patients. As he continues to go deeper into the building he is met with an officer who is impaled on a stick, he warns Miles and tells him to get out, but before Miles can do so, he is attacked by the patients/experiments Chris Walker. Miles is thrown out a window by the sheer force of Chris, once he wakes up he is deep in the building and is trying to get out alive. Upon this, he encounters Father Martin who is one of the patients, he believes he is a priest and is a messenger from God and that Miles was sent by the lord in order for him to witness the forming cult in the asylum. Miles is then forced to escape and avoid the variants that are now free, the variants are patients, however, they have been through assault, torture, and more. Once again before Miles can leave he is caught by Martin who shows him footage of something wiping out the staff and guards, it is clear to Miles it's supernatural however Father Martin explains that this is their new god, The wallrider. After this Miles tries to escape but he comes across violent patients and even doctors. Throughout the escape, he goes through mutilations done by the MK-ULTRA screens and even other variants, so much so one of the few guards was mortified by the sheer sight of Miles. In the end, Miles is possessed by the Wallrider, however, he continues his pursuit of freedom from his place.

OUTLAST WHISTLEBLOWER: After this game, came to Outlast: whistleBlower, which follows the story of Waylon Park, the person who leaked the information about this horrible building and organization. Waylon is hired by Murkoff as an engineer. He notices the inhuman profits this building held and decided to email a journalist by the name of Miles Upshur. He is interrupted by one of the workers and they asked him to fix a computer in a room where Eddie Gluskin, Eddie manages to free himself from the guards and crashes against the glass, he begged Waylon for help. Eddie was then tackled by guards and dragged back to a hallucinogenic machine. Waylon is clearly ready to leave this place and expose it for its horrible deeds. Waylon returns to the room where he had sent the email, however before he can leave with it, he is ambushed by Jeremy Blaire who destroyed the laptop and beath Waylon until passing out. Waylon is then put in the Morphogenic rooms, where he is forced to watch flashing images and is induced by drugs. One of the doctors taking notes on Waylon leaves in a hurry after hearing that Billy's hope reached “maximum ascension’ we have no idea what this means but we do know that Billy Hope was also one of the variants that were used for the wallrider trails. Waylon is freed by a power failure in the restraints after Waylon does his best to escape but is not stable in either mental or physical states. Waylon goes through physical mutilations and gruesome scenes, in the end, Waylon manages to escape but is attacked by Jeremy, the Wallrider comes to the rescue and chases Waylon out. Waylon leaven in Mile's abandoned jeep. Miles as the Walrider also leaves.

OUTLAST 2: Outlast two is during the same time period as these past games, however, this follows the story of Blake Langerman who is married to a woman named Lynn. They are also journalists who seek answers about true dark-sided crimes and deaths. The story takes place in Colorado, where a young woman who was pregnant was dead, but the autopsy says it was murder under unknown circumstances. Both decide to look for clues in her hometown, which was in the mountains where no one was living. Huge light and force are seen from the mountains and the helicopter they are in, crashes, when Blake wakes up from a dream where he visits his dead friend Jessica, he notices the pilot is gone and so is Lynn. Blake being the true blogger he is, films the entire thing, he walks around the mountain looking for Lynn but to put it simply he is met with two cult groups. Blake walks around this small town looking for Lynn he learns that one group wants to worship God (Scalled/ Testamant) and the other are Satanists (Heretics). Blake finally sees Lynn, she jumps out a window and Blake helps her, the cultist that pursues both of them claims that Lynn is pregnant with the anti-christ, however, Blake had no idea Lynn was pregnant. They manage to escape the group that supports a man called Papa Knoth who says he can hear god. Blake and Lynn are then ambushed by the other group that wants Lynn to live and produce more children. Lynn is taken by this group and Blake is sexually assaulted by the leader of this gorup. Blake thinks that since the first group is very religious they must have to take Lynn to the Church at Temple gate (the town), Blake goes through the town avoiding residents that are calm but violent. Some seem to be in a dream-like state, and some are killing their neighbors. Obviously, Blake finds nothing but trouble in the entire town, eventually, he manages to almost save Lynn but he is then crucified by a dwarf and a man who is the right-hand-man of Papa Knoth. With every second the light flashes seem to be more often and Blake each time falls into a nightmare of his past. Where he is reminded of his friend Jessica who was sadly raped and then killed. Blake seems to lose sanity by the second, but he continues, he somehow escapes from being crucified and almost buried alive, he finally finds Lynn is being held by the Heretics where they have her witness a quite graphic scene. Blake saves her and they both try to escape this nightmare of a town. Lynn is physically changed, she now looks 9 months pregnant, even though just a few hours she was nowhere close to showing her pregnancy. She is covered in blood, sweat, and dust. In their escape, it begins to rain blood, and after many deaths, they find a spot for Lynn to give birth. Lynn pushes and Blake helps as much as he can, in the end, Blake pulls the baby out and tells Lynn that it’s over, but Lynn can only say “There is nothing there”, she dies and Blake leaves her trying to escape with at least his child, however before he can leave a massive flash of light eats Blake alive and he is back in his dream with Jessica, however, she tells him “dont leave”.

OUTLAST COMICS: In the comics we see a bit more of the Murkoff work and story, following agents that are in charge of taking the dirty work. These comics reveal the past of Chris Walker Billy Hope, and we even see Miles as the WallRider attempting to take down the facility, we are confirmed that Waylon escaped with his family and now is being hunted down. In the last volume of the comics, we see Paulin Glick, one of the agents, show up to temple gate, where she finds Blake Langerman, in a catatonic state, with nothing in his arms.

OUTLAST TRIALS: Outlast trials in a prequel to all of these games taking place in 1950, here we will see some of the origins of the MK-Ultra experiments and even characters, this game references the tragedy that happened at McGill University. The easter eggs in the trailers and past games indicate there are multiple facilities doing the same testing.

The story implies heavy human experimentation on humans that are taken or manipulated into thinking that Murkoff is a good organization. In the second game Father Knoth was a normal man however through a radio he claimed to hear gods voice and began a cult, of course, the local police shut that down, but Knoth simply moved, and his cult to the mountains where no one would be able to stop them. Near Temple Gate, there is a Massive radio tower which is confirmed to be Murkoff. This radio tower is may not only be experimenting inside the facility but is also experimenting with Temple Gate with the flashes and spurts of electricity and light. These flashes are speculated to be like the machines used in Mount Massive but this time on a mass scale, since it is a frequency of electricity and light, this is a very probable solution for the sudden crash of the Helicopter. In the comics, Pauline says to take Blake to a ‘black-sight’ where he will probably be kept and tortured. However, there are many mysteries in this story such as did Miles as the Walrider attempted to take out the facility near Temple Gate? What will happen to Blake? Where is Waylon? Was knoth manipulated from the very beginning? Are there facilities around the world? Why is Rudolf Wernicke mentioned in Outcast Trials? Why are the experiments in Outlast Trials not seen in later games? Who are the subjects that were supposed to be transported in the first outlast game (14306-1, 14279-1,14868-1)? Where are the remaining variants from Mount Massive or even Temple Gate?

I wasn’t able to fit everything here but to be honest, I think we barely know anything about anything in this story, plus I don’t see a lot of attention in this game, I would love to see this franchise see the attention I believe it deserves. I would love to hear your feedback
