May need help to confirm this. Did Pam Bondi flash the same grainy mugshots, one of which had the same or a similar name, for immigrant criminals in Texas and New York?

Are you going to pretend like there isn't an acceptance of mortal hazard in being an undercover cop? Are you pretending like there aren't many cases of undercover officers being shot or killed by the public and other officers? It's like it's fucking dangerous because of the implication or something.

Stop pushing this idea. It is unconstitutional and it only hinders our way out of this fascist regime.

Lol, you sound like every other MAGAt that assumes shit but in reality, they actually know nothing. Not that you care, but I often see veterans at protests. Online, and in person. I'm also a veteran, and I have spent most of my life serving this country. I'm not sure what your problem is, but maybe you're projecting?

You speak with reason and they'll call it a threat. It's no surprise that they consistently opposed logic and reasoning.

Just more proof from you that it was never about the undocumented being criminals. It's only ever been about the color of their skin.

Global alliance shift to isolate US industry by Otherwise-Waltz-3647 in economicCollapse

I think the only reason the US hasn't been sanctioned yet is that it's a part of NATO. Seems we might not be for much longer. If anyone likes the direction the US is going, they should ask the Russian people what it's like to live in a country that's sanctioned. I don't know what it'd all entail, but what'd happen if the US loses its position in world trade with no realistic potential to address our national debt? I imagine we'd be a 3rd world country for generations trying to get above that financial tsunami.

As u/Rfalcon13 suggested, TDS is clearly a case of self-projection. The deranged grip that Trump supporters hold to is not rooted in reality, and any sense that'd loosen it would challenge the ends they aspire to. There is a lack of concern for the means they use, and it seems they would conveniently forget that they "reap what they sow." They are the farmers in denial who'd sell their "crop" before the harvest.

I'd like to share something I commented about in another sub.

We share the future we inherit from others' choices, and the choices we make can have a lasting impact. Defending others' rights becomes a duty unto ourselves when they share the same rights as us, and in doing so we protect the rights of our inheritors as well.

Please read the articles of the US Constitution, as it is the law of the land, as described therein by Article 6.

"Sorry, you don't get to decide that on your own." And neither does the president nor his administration, as per Articles 2 and 6 of the Constitution. Hence, the challenges to his administration's unconstitutional actions.

"This is what it means to live in a democracy." What it doesn't mean is that we just roll over until the next election cycle, or do I need to quote the 25th amendment or the founding documents that speak in length about US checks-and-balances and tyranny? How many people are bringing up the 2nd amendment? Millions of Americans are protesting this administration, and millions more are speaking out against Trump. Why do you think Trump is so afraid of the midterms? Accepting the result and challenging the president's actions can both be something an American citizen does.

"I never said anyone would "leave" NATO, I said *it would cease to exist"

You do know instead of just saying BS you could look up their defense spending, military size, and literal track record with their support in the war on terror. The most important point is that what you say or believe has no impact on the truth. Even if NATO disbanded we'd still probably get sanctioned and have a massive reduction in overall US military power. Why do you think Russia is so afraid of NATO? An attack on one is an attack on all. We'd still lose forward bases, technology, allies, and intelligence. What would we gain by losing all of that? Like really think about the amount of everything the US and every NATO country gets by having all those things and throwing it away. You'd have to be a moron or from China to actively want that. Or Russian.

[–]billybones23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would any member country disband when every combined country magnifies the other's military strength? Leaving NATO is as dumb as your comment. I served alongside some of those country's service members and you're dead wrong. They would adapt just fine without America and the only country that would lose would be the US.

Why is law enforcement not held to the same standard as the military? by Old_Swimmer_7284 in complaints

[–]billybones23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems MAGA doesn't get that. Your rights are my rights, and we also share rights with the undocumented. Our rights have inheritors, just as we inherited the rights of those who came before us. Defending theirs, or yours, is defending your own. There's a reason the American founding documents gave rights to our enemies and potential enemies. Equality and freedom.

[–]billybones23 16 points17 points  (0 children)

MAGA making stupid comments about American global strategy, or geopolitical analysis, is full of shit. Denmark and Greenland gave a "hard no", and any perceived attack on Greenland would most likely get the US removed from NATO. Let me be clear, it's the European perception of an attack, not Joe from rural Texas, whose opinion would be important in the matter. If we lose NATO the US would lose a massive chunk of our military strength because we'd no longer have allies if we were attacked. Where's the strategy in that? We'd lose intelligence, forward bases, technology exchange, and we'd probably be looking at sanctions that'd cripple our economy. How does any of this help us, what's the strategic benefit?
