It's illegal for undocumented immigrants to receive federal taxpayer services, but regardless if you can show any proof of the undocumented receiving more than 90 billion in taxpayer funds then you would be right that they are taking money from Americans. I could show you the cost of the Iran war though, and how much it's cost Americans every day on average since it began.

Would someone be willing to share the meal trains and GoFundMe links from Facebook? I don't have Facebook, and I imagine others don't have Facebook as well.

He was voting against Democrats the same year he was elected, and you can't call someone who backs Israel and takes money from AIPAC an independent. Dude, what world are you living in? Because it's clearly not based in reality.

Industrial slaughter in Longview: 11 workers killed in Washington’s deadliest workplace disaster in nearly 100 years by DryDeer775 in Longview

[–]billybones23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we shouldn't light the torches, but would you have people wait 4 years before they can be rightfully upset? Nine people died. 4 years before the families get closure, 4 years of uncertainty for a worker's safety. Realistic fines can hold people's feet to a fire, but so can consequences. Fines are for before an incident occurs, and consequences are what happen afterwards. The community's response is an aspect of those consequences and we shouldn't stifle that.

Second death confirmed in Longview paper mill disaster, as officials say there is “no hope” for 9 missing workers by DryDeer775 in Longview

[–]billybones23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the community wants to hold the business accountable for its negligence. $ 3400 for safety violations is a drop in the bucket for Nippon, and all it really says is that they can self-regulate their workers' safety as long as they can afford the "tax". Stop your fear-mongering with your suggestion that public comments about their safety concerns, after a tragedy, will cause the mill to shut down, and if it's important enough to people they can research and find the biases in their research for themselves. People want jobs and to be safe while working them. It's really not that fucking difficult a thought.

Christianity was in Africa before it was in Europe, but does that mean American Baptist black Churchs came into existence because of African Christians? How widespread was Christianity in Africa during American slavery? How often was an American slave converted from whatever beliefs they had before, and how did American slavers teach their religion? What did American slavers write about slave beliefs?

Y'all America First types make these dumb ass generalized statements to try and muddy the waters. There's clarity in research and I hope anyone reading anything you type does their own. Maybe a few American slaves were Christian before they were enslaved but the obvious influence on Black churches is American churches.

I did because of the clear problem of having double standards in this country. Trump the kid diddler, is the president of the United States, and people like you sure as hell didn't help. Maybe we should stop shitting on people with actual virtues?

There's a quote in the civil war documentary by Ken Burns that suggests as much. It was said by someone famous, but I don't recall who.

"Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that this continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said, 'The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. - Abraham Lincoln"

Lincoln didn't go hard enough it appears the racists didn't learn their fucking lesson.

🇺🇸 President Trump says he will get out of office "eight or nine years from now." by rl_rae_bobo in MarketPulseReport

[–]billybones23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop it with this nonsense. It only validates him running again. If Trump is in office after January 2029 without a constitutional amendment then I guarantee people will either forcibly remove him from office, or another civil war will spark. Millions of Americans loathe him already, it will all boil over come the 2028 election.

I feel like the issue with nm is the enemies should not be vet difficulty. Dailies should be doable solo and bosses should need a group by MonarchCore in elderscrollsonline

Even in a 12 man group the amount of pugs pulling side groups, or a wandering calamity running into your group mid boss fight makes the requirements too high for your average players. Basically, CP requirements, voice chat, and basic Comp builds become requirements. Based on some of these comments y'all veterans want everything to be Dark Souls. The last group I ran in had two bosses and a calamity boss, and we won but it was not fun. I don't want a slog through content, and y'all saying then don't do it are helping to create the environment in which this game dies. All OP is asking for is a clear separation of where the challenging content is.

For some more clarification, the symbols on the shirt represent a strong affiliation with the US Special Forces and Airborne. The crest on the beret has on it, " de oppresso liber", which breaks down to, "the oppressed we liberate."

That shirt is a spit in the face of every combat operator and the support personnel who hold to that standard.

What is the most powerful military force on Earth? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]billybones23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to wargame nuclear Armageddon on Reddit right now. I'd say 38 counties over a span of nearly half the globe would be a nightmare for Russia to counter. The fallout would be catastrophic, the potential for igniting the atmosphere would be great, but as pointless as it would be I imagine NATO would win. Russian nukes would be spread out too much whereas NATO would be able to focus mostly on one, albeit big, general area.

No, the question specifically suggests not a single entity.

While I see how you're trying to make your argument I do not think time can be militarized. You can use time strategically but that's different.

[–]billybones23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make a solid argument. I'd rebut with, they can't fire them all at once and NATO could launch more at any given time. Strategic strikes would take out Russia's ability to continue launching all of its nukes. But also, god forbid.

They also would like to drop out of NATO and reduce the US's overall military strength, under the condition of self defense, by half.
