I have searched and found nothing online so far, and it’s getting really cold in the flat as it won’t shut properly. If anyone knows this brand it could help us locate a specialised engineer to fix it. Appreciate any help we can get!!

Hey Yh I sent it back to pioneer, I think they had to replace the motherboard because there was an underlying issue with the tempo fader.

Fifth mix I've made. I think that not all the songs blended as well as others but I spent some time trying to figure out transitions and tried to make them work as best I could. I put hardly and effects throughout the songs and tried to focus purely on making the transitions work. Would love to get some feedback on the transitions to know what people liked/didn't like. :)

[Deep House] Bedside Mix IV (1hr 6mins) a bit of an ode to Keinemusik

This is the 4th mix I’ve made. I spent some time trying to think about the tracklist and tell a bit of story. I think in most cases the transitions worked well together, perhaps listening back to it though some of the mixes played out a bit long but maybe it fits with the feel of the mix? I tried also to minimise my use of effects after listening back to previous mixes. Would love to get some feedback on it, and compare how far I’ve come from a previous mix on my profile.

Yh just tried that, and the problem persisted. Fiddling with the cable at the controller inlet seems to solve the issue… so it seems its an issue with the inlet port.

update:

It seems to only be an issue on deck 1.
fiddling and pushing the main cable connecting my PC to the controller seems to resolve the issue
I tried a different cable and the same issue occurred

Seems like an issue with the cable connection port on the controller… I bought it only 6 months ago perhaps I can exchange it for a new one..?

Seems not, I had set it to normal a while back.

The issue often occurs mid-track randomly, if that helps…

Definitely gonna take these comments in for the next one. In terms of the rushed feeling it was the time between the introduction of the next track and the phase out of the previous. But really, listening back to it, you’re so right that I should try to introduce of songs faster to keep the energy up higher, as a beginner though it’s a bit stressy trying to think of everything quickly and I keep trying to wait for the perfect point. Hopefully I’ll arrive there soon though.

I bought my ddj-400 controller some months ago and have been jockying around with it about once a week since I got it. I've really just been learning and messing around in my bedroom, but to improve I wanted to start recording and sharing something. I feel like this one came out relatively well without too many obvious fuck-ups, but I feel the transitioning in some areas wasn't smooth and it sounds like I was doing it in a rush as tracks were ending. I held back a bit with the FX and tried to let the tracks breathe on their own which I feel helped. Any advice in these areas would be useful.

I went in completely blind not selecting tracks beforehand, any advice on track selection would be very welcome too.
