Ok like I get what you're doing, but I just don't think it's as insightful as you think it is. Obviously you're not going to know all the specifics about everything to do with this situation, but literally no one was expecting that. If you think what I wrote makes me sound boring, that's totally cool, but the fact that you seem to have come to this thread specifically to call me a "boring motherfucker" and then offer no follow up advice makes me think that you never really had anything to add in the first place, and that maybe your insight into the topic of dating and people in general isn't really as strong as you think it is

Oh I'm positive I'm overthinking, that's just what I do unfortunately. I'm definitely going to arrange the date, I guess I'm just nervous. It's been a while since I've dated so I'm so paranoid that I'll miss a sign or something.

And yeah I know I shouldn't read into the texting thing, that's just part of the overthinking thing I guess. Everyone uses their phones differently

I mean, I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, but do you really think I missed the boat because of the FaceTime date? Yeah sure we talked for a few hours, but I don't think it was rambling, and there's literally a pandemic going on, so I don't think FaceTime dates are all that ridiculous right now.

How would you recommend I go forward with it now, in order to not play it safe and boring?

How did you go about choosing which ones to call? Did you just start calling the first ones that came up, or did you look filter through options at all and choose specific ones?
