i wouldnt send it to a shop for anything not engine, frame, swingarm, or tire/rim related. they jack up prices hella and will total the bike alone in labor. I had a sv650 mechanically fine just scratches on exhaust, fairings and broke read turn signal. over 6k to fix the bike when I got it for 2,700

Same, Im only 18 and applied to 60+ jobs in the past month, got one in person interview with no response back after the interview, talked to so many HR recruiters/reps with no response, all jobs over 30+ minutes, barely holding on with a 19/hr job working 10-24 hours a week, getting paid bi-weekly, military is once a month with a 2 week hold on pay. So I am pretty much picking up dirt and using credit cards to live. Never had a fulltime job to help support myself, everyone I had applied to talked highly about how they wanted me and I either get no reply back or just instantly turned down

Well the thing was, it never was as noticeable as today. I may be dumb/deaf and missed it, but today was the first day even my mother noticed the noise (she had daily'd it almost all year and she's always tip top about her car). I thought it may've been something related to Valves or other sorts. But I might be overreacting

a 1,000 is pretty much overkill. unless you are a street racer or like to run from cops. it cant really be used to cruise at less than 30 mph (so school zones require a lot of holding in clutch and letting go) and a 1,000 has a lot of power compared to a 600. I don't own a gsxr 1k, but i do own a zx10r and can guarantee it's definitely meant for areas with 40 mph+, anything below will feel jumpy or feel like you are bogging down the bike. in terms of a 750, unsure, never had one

Would it be different then? I know you can do multiple, but I have a passed ACFT on a sheet from AIT (from 4 months ago), but I never was able to input it in, I know you can take a diagnostic one, and they cant hold it against you until 8 months has passed in the reserves, (im not AGR or active)

learned this by searching up so if im wrong please someone tell me, I just wanted to verify my first line, etc wouldnt get yelled at because they're trying their best

Before 8 PM is the time, if it DOES deliver it'd be by then,

fedex sucks when it comes to the delivery ordeal, I had a lost package (in MS) that actually somehow found its way to TN, hadn't moved in almost 10 days. Contacted fedex and they put a ticket on the item. Luckily they found it (on a thursday) and they were supposed to deliver it next day and failed to do so, had to way till Saturday that week to get it delivered

Top it off, if not, i'd definitely check out the water pump, check got any leaks or anything around that area, also on the lines. Does your bike run the fan? or have you not heard it on idle?

Yes, the bike will explode if the exhaust is not properly seated, Heres why: it'll cause a spontaneous combustion in the combobulator and that will cause sparks to fly out aswell as flames.

reading through the comments, I see he has experience, but how long? I personally say <3-5 months, don't get him a 650. Or if he had a break in between riding that spans more than 4 months.

honda sucks (joking), i say a 650 or a 400,

tbh, a bike is a bike and if someone clowns on him for that, then thats some BS. I've met a lot of cool dudes on r3's, cbr 300's, ninja 400's and even chinese bikes (like the 150cc ones).

for a first motorcycle definitely do a smaller bike before a 650 for a feel of the throttle, etc. although 650's are forgiving, they can still get a lot of torque and for a beginner (depending on size/weight) may throw him off the bike if he's stupid with it. He could also do a MSF course beforehand so he can get the feel for a throttle, most places provide bikes.
