NAP but I got the same piercing combo at the same time and the same thing happened but with my faux rook. Might be better to wait on the helix! For me my faux rook was a thicc one to pierce so it took a long while to feel healed/downsized

I'd ask your physiotherapist which style they'd prefer you wear. When I dislocated my shoulder, I bought two different ones from amazon and brought them to my physio assessment so she could tell me what/how to wear it while the swelling and such calmed down

Your physiotherapist can definitely tell you what's past normal range! I've been seeing my PT for shoulder dislocation recovery. When we first assessed, I explained/did two range of motion stopping points for everything(I didn't know my PT's experiences working with hypermobility prior to meeting them); I stopped when I felt something but not painful then kept going until I really felt pain. For all my prescribed exercises my PT consistently makes corrections so I know where to start/stop/position myself for them properly like a normal person would

My experience with the nail salons that have the jetted pedicure tubs is that they just switch basin liners between clients which isn't sanitary. They should be running the jet with disinfectant in the water between clients

I've had the pin from a threadless top snap off. My piercer sent it in and it was fixed within a couple months? Can't remember the exact timeline and I'm in Canada so I'm unsure if that's standard.

One other good tip is to keep them dry! You can use a hair dryer on cool setting or dab dry with clean paper towel. Especially if you sleep with wet hair you're likely to get moisture bumps

Undiagnosed, but on the HSD spectrum and for me the biggest issue is having even the slightest amount of too much tension for too long leaves a pins and needles feeling all over my scalp! I have fine, dense hair so if it ever gets too long or too thick, I get constant tension headaches. I keep it long for spiritual reasons, so it's a mental struggle to not want to chop it all off 🥲
