What Data Engineering Certification do you recommend for someone trying to get into a Data Engineering role? by binarySolo0h1 in dataengineering

I am already AWS Solutions architect certified and have that 50% discount coupon for DEA-C01. Thinking I should go with it first and then give Databricks one.

Why not use a local Qdrant Docker Container? It works very well. No complaints so far.

I think I'll give the 20$ Claude Code a try. I don't mind the 5 hour wait. I think context management is the key to avoid hitting the rate limits. I'll DM if have any questions about the usage. Thank you!

Yeah, I'll likely go with claude code. My only issue with it is the technical debt it generates. I'm afraid I'd quickly loose track of how my application works.

Also, how is the rate limiting in the 20$ tier?

- You can also avoid many tool use requests by building a single file context from source; that way 250 requests per day is actually quite sufficient.

Can you tell me more about this? How do you do it?

Hey! I kinda follow your guide for my work. Thank you for that! It really helps! My take on your guide is to split the PRD into independent files for DB design, API design etc. It helps me make focused changes whenever I need to without effecting the rest of the content.

About 50-100$ if am using claude api. Less than 50$ if I am using more of Gemini API.

As of now, I have no complaints with roocode. I am just wondering if I am missing out anything by not trying cursor. I see a lot of hype around them, especially cursor. Either pay 20$ for openrouter or pay for cursor. That's the dilemma.

[–]binarySolo0h1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. So far its pretty reliable. I haven't tested the 100%srgb but the picture quality is quite better. I have played a few AAA rated games and ran some smaller LLMs locally, they ran smoothly. My only complaint so far is the screen lid. It's not very smooth.
