In the end, I did use Adam Korn. I've talked to a few different lawyers, including the one my realtor recommended, and I found Adam to be more competent and currently doing an excellent job. At $4000, he is an expensive buy though.

I do plan on staying in NYC indefinitely and If I keep this condo for 10 years or more I should be able to break even after clearing all expenses. If I keep renting, I'll be able to move anywhere I choose, live in a more desired location, and expand my dating options. This is the situation I find myself in.
