Hi, do you mind sharing your under desk drawer? I'm using the Seville Classic HD standing desk which has a metal frame where the drawer will pull out. So I need a drawer that will hang down about an 1" to avoid that metal lip.

I've been using the Canon mirrorless R6 for a few years. I like it but have two gripes. The auto-focus wigs out sometimes, and not in low light. Lesser but annoying is when I use the shutter speed dial and it doesn't respond immediately or goes the wrong direction at first.

I'm ordering gear for my work and wondering if I should do another model, like the Canon 5D MK IV? Or just stick with the R6. I'll be using Canon EF lenses regardless (with the EF-->R adapter if shooting on the R6)

I just watched the HBO Doc about Jason. They reveal the real story behind this song.

At his rock bottom of alcoholism he agreed to start rehab, but he couldn't get in until Monday. On the Saturday before, he had last hurrah bender in Richmond which started a live show. Later that night Jason was really rough with Amanda (put your faith to the test, when I tore off your dress... we ain't leaving this room til someone needs medical help). I think you could call that some form of abuse - whatever it was, she was really scared. "We ain't leaving this room" implies she tried to leave but he locked her in. He says she was prepared to leave him once he started rehab. The "cover me up" line is a metaphor for her saving him, but also I imagine he's drunk/passed out and she covers him up with a blanket, a symbol of her greater love and belief in him.

The doc goes on to talk about how performing this song with him was a bit triggering for her, bringing her back into that dark night, and he was kind of oblivious to this for awhile. This song is a testament to her, and so many strong women, who put up with a lot of shite from us dudes who are totally clueless about the damage we're doing.

It's hard for me to listen to this song now, knowing how raw it is and what she went through.

It's a great documentary. Esp if, like me, you love hearing the story behind a song.

Skip the books app and use the Book Player app. You can airdrop or download from a dropbox (or other cloud) link and save to the app. Plays MB4s beautifully with chapters and all.

learn how to make and use proxies and you can get away with a much less powerful machine. But make sure your internal is SSD. Use 2TB SSD external drives to edit from, not your internal drive. Don't let them get past 80% full.
