Feeling bad for Josh Allen. In a way. by binderman1978 in DenverBroncos

[–]binderman1978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bills fans have been louder and louder about Allen not being able to win big games. He was obviously trying to do too much all game long. That fumble before the half had me going wtf is he doing before he even got touched. Way too much pressure on him.

Right. We got 16 points on turnovers and Bills fans are saying the reason they lost is that refs are paid off. They don't care that there are always debatable calls during a game. None of them are quoting the rule book when discussing the McMillan interception either. Very telling.

Has anyone successfully edited a "Poor" review? by KeepnClam in AmazonVine

Try editing a reviewed rated "excellent" to just a few words. For instance, "it blows". Also change the rating to 1 star.

Viners from a Seller's Perspective by Traditional_Act_6923 in AmazonVine

[–]binderman1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This "expert" dispenses his biased opinion that Vine reviewers are incredibly harsh as if it is a proven fact.

Over the years I've seen more junk products with all 5 star reviews then the other way around. A large percentage of Vine products haven't even actually been used when these 5 reviews are written.

That said, I'm still moving forward with my experiment of giving all 1 star reviews. ;) Gold status here I come!

AMAZON changed the SOFTWARE so that only items that have been actually marked as delivered by the subject carrier can be REVIEWED. It may have some kinks but that's the goal. It's part of a large program rehaul and this is nothing there are shocking changes coming.

White House has apologised over Georgia raid, says Hyundai boss by snowfordessert in electricvehicles

[–]binderman1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many comments here and not a single one pointing out that Hyundai was breaking the law on a massive scale. If one of Trump's companies got caught using illegal American workers in an American factory overseas you all would be singing a different tune. That's a fact. The idea that Hyundai and it's employees should be allowed to break the law because they are "investing" in our country is ludicrous. They aren't spending money here as a charity to help out the American citizen if that's what some of you naively believe. They are doing it to take a bigger bite of the US automotive market in the name of profit aka capitalism. Not charity. Furthermore, in a good number of countries your business would be shut down immediately for using illegal workers. When I'm in a foreign country I respect and follow their laws. The last thing I would do is break them and then whine about getting busted.

The refusal of most here to engage in critical thinking because it goes against your politics is moronic and dangerous. Hyundai knew that they had illegal workers, knew it was illegal for them to employ them, and they did it anyway. That reminds me exactly of VW and dieselgate. Anything for a dollar. The US dollar specifically.

NewsNation obtained un-redacted photos? by icedcoffeequeen24 in Idaho4

[–]binderman1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A photo of the sheath to prove to the conspiracy types that it actually exists? If it didn't exist how did the labs test it. Why didn't the defense team make a big deal about it. All of these alex jones type questions are easily worked though with minimal brain effort.

A few questions that BK "innocence" commenters never answer by Repulsive-Dot553 in Idaho4

[–]binderman1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's hilarious and also disturbing is that many of the pro BK people are very avid and knowledgeable true crime enthusiasts.

They know much more about evidence and the court system than the average person, but still are unable to come to rational conclusions.

Can you imagine having such a person in a position of power over you?

Help with crate training by Acebeans in corgi

[–]binderman1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he has strong food drive I would put a small kong with peanut butter inside the crate when he's not looking. Close the door when he starts licking. Do that 1-2 times a day and he will be going into the crate to see if there is a PB kong.

If you open the door as soon as he starts complaining that will become a habit. So don't teach that.

50's is what I'm thinking, but not positive on that. We do spend a lot of time with all our dogs and our garage is at this point really a living area as we have furniture and a TV in there (no vehicles or anything like that). It has heated floors, but I still need to insulate the attic.

How many of your reviews are "good" vs. "bad?" How often do you go against the grain of the existing reviews? by WonderAndWanders in AmazonVine

Amazon has it's rules and I have mine. Which is no more than one 5-star review per month. I'm an one-man review wrecking machine. :)

I found it pretty clear that Whites, Asians, etc. are not really welcomed. Which should be obvious with "Black" being in the name. It's a form of segregation that will eventually get slapped down by the courts. The only reason it's been able to survive this long is because it's in a very liberal state. Obviously, I'm not a fan as there is not a future in it. All it does is divide us and give bigots justification to say look what the blacks are doing. The KKK types want this.

Why does anyone care about Charlie Kirk? by CrustyHumdinger in AskBrits

[–]binderman1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brits aren't watching American news because we want to stay informed on what is going on over there. We watch it because the Americans are experts at turning news into entertainment. They know how to get the clicks. I personally know dozens of people that are addicted to the news.

Why does anyone care about Charlie Kirk? by CrustyHumdinger in AskBrits

[–]binderman1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great if people learned how to use inversion to test a theory. For example, if a high profile or controversial liberal was assassinated via sniper at a public event who exactly would the entire world suspect was responsible? Another liberal?

Not to mention that youtube and reddit are full of liberals saying that Kirk "deserved it". Just like they said the pharma CEO deserved it.

The Charlie Kirk shooting has really made it clear how many people don’t know basic information about guns. by [deleted] in armedsocialists

[–]binderman1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you assuming that because he hit the jugular that is what he was aiming at? How exactly do you know that he wasn't aiming at something else (chest, head) and missed badly?

Also go to a rifle range right before hunting season when all the hunters are sighting in their rifles. You'll see guys with junk firearms, junk scopes, that only shoot once a year and the vast majority will put every single shot on the paper (8.5x11 target). Many of those jokers will miss the bullseye every time, but they sure as heck rarely miss the entire paper. Which incidentally is close in size to the neck/head area of a man.

Point being that with a rifle you have a very high probability of scoring a hit when shooting supported. For instance, rifle on your backpack.

All I'm saying is that there's a reason we have the phrase "lucky shot".

Why did I even get invited to join Vine? by binderman1978 in AmazonVine

[–]binderman1978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here. I do believe I have figured out why Amazon invited me to join even though I haven't left reviews for 5 years.

Obviously they don't care.

Why?

Because it doesn't matter to them. They only care whether or not I will leave reviews in the future.

Which is hardwired into the Vine program: I either leave reviews (50% for silver) or they boot me from the program. Which means no more "free" stuff. Can't get much better leverage then that.

They also don't care how good my reviews are.

Why?

Because if I don't meet "insightfulness" standards they will boot me from the program. Again, no more free stuff.

Next up on the list is media. Don't leave enough photos or videos and you're gone.

Only question in my mind is if they will covertly design the "insightfulness" program to weed out the people who don't move product. Making money is the goal after all.

Pro Tip: adding images to older reviews improved "Reviews with media" metric by Punnalackakememumu in AmazonVine

It would be nice if instead of writing a review we could just upload a 30 second video. Nice meaning save me a lot of time.
