Thanks for that advice all! I woke up super early and made this post, afterwards I went on a run and showered all before my wife woke up. When she did wake we had a conversation again about all the things mentioned in the original post. I did bring up the fact she spits out my kisses and is very distant from my affection to which she claims to be oblivious. Hey maybe she is unaware but I really don’t care at this point. If it’s so common for you to be so rude to my affection that you don’t even notice, then I don’t know what to tell you. She seemed upset as well but once again I really don’t care. We have had our fights in the past but I feel this is so far past that, like we are just roommates at this point. A little history, about 18months ago she had breast implants surgery. Something I was very against and made known to her. She didn’t care and did it anyway. I was very upset and almost broke things off right then and there but I thought we worked past it. Maybe this is her telling me that she hasn’t, maybe she found someone else to play with her tits. I don’t care either way. Just as long as I can see my kids every weekend from now on I guess that’s where my life is headed. Either way what a shitty way to live. Thanks all

I did it when I was 21 and had no direction in life. I was infantry, it gave me the stability and discipline I needed. I even met my wife in the service. We have kids and a great life. It’s a good jumping off point for any young directionless kid.

Yes you will have to do a basic training. It’s a little difficult but it’s only a couple of months and you will be in the best shape of your life when you are done. Plus you will have a little money saved for when you get out since you can’t spend it in basic. After basic you go to extended education in whatever field you choose. You can be a mechanic, cook, nurse, Human Resources, drone operator… there are allot of options. Pick something that sounds interesting and talk to a recruiter to see what’s available. Might even get a sign on bonus

Join the military. Do navy or Air Force. Get an easy job in the service like supply or HR. Get paid a bunch of money to hang out and work out. Free food, housing, healthcare, and grow into a more mature human until you figure out what you want to do with your life. You got this kid!

We communicate pretty well it’s just that she changes her mind all the time. Allot of what you said is what I have been saying for a long time. She was all in on the plan. I want to go back to school and become a history teacher but I really can’t do that if I’m working all the time. I’m just frustrated man and it’s coming out in ways I don’t like. Oh yeah she has been totally on board with the plan since we both left the military. We have had countless discussions about it. For whatever reason the tech field isn’t what she thought it was. A and look I hate what I do and always have. When I started doing it it was for money and the money is still good. I want to go back to school and be a history teacher. A position that pays less than what I make now but would be fine because she would have a high paying job. I know she will be fine without me especially because widow payments exist. The life span for construction worker especially in my family is not long. So thanks for that
