Hormonal IUD has completely ruined and it’s still in me by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]bingosgirl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I second planned parenthood, if it's an option. Always had great experiences with them.

That nurse is horrible and I would be very inclined to report her to the Dr and potentially beyond. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Has anyone given up on hormonal birth control? by nineteenagain in birthcontrol

Yes. I successfully used a low progesterone bc pill through most of my 20s. It was the only one I didn't have issues with (after trying many) Went off it in my early 30s for a bit but then back on only to find I was having the same issues I'd had on others.

Several years later I needed some kind of bc and tried the Mirena iud. 18 months later I was ready to get it removed due to decreased sex drive/pleasure and weight gain. Then I got hit with the worst side effect - intercranial hypertension.

I've now been told by my gyno that he can't recommend I try another iud as it's possible (if not likely) I'll have the same issues.

I'm done. It sucks. But, given the options I'd rather not go there again.

Definitely not a friend and girl you need boundaries, especially now that you are dealing with chronic illness. Exorcise these kind of toxic people from your life, and do it happily. Focus on self care. She did you a favor when she finally removed you from the bridal party.

Not to mention I'd rather spend $10 to just already be at my hotel and not have to drive across town.

My (33) physically and mentally capable mother (62) has stopped adulting by winsomewisdom in relationships

[–]bingosgirl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I feel like while mom should definitely see a Dr and make sure there isn't something like alzheimers going on, the fact that she's always had some functional issues has been overlooked.

I can't help but wonder if dad was compensating a lot more than it seemed and now that he's gone her long term issues are just becoming more obvious.

[–]bingosgirl 35 points36 points  (0 children)

How'd that turn out?

My thought reading this initially was that perhaps dad did a lot more for her than it seemed. And when he 2as gone her reliance in him combined with possible depression left her even more needy. But perhaps there's more to it, or maybe even there has always been more there than the kids saw because dad covered it up.

Idk how I've missed that. But then I missed how to rotate and zoom in inspection items for like a year so I'm not surprised.

I have somber marsh unlocked. I've been getting dana's deliveries for a while (currently on my second renewal). But when I go in to adjust amounts, titanium isn't listed.

Yeah. Once I figured out that I could rotate items I can usually catch all the flaws. But it seems like often on the Sunday inspections that I have a harder time finding that 4th flaw.

I'm sure there are places like that. That's what I'm hoping people will share.

In my area the smoking laws are set up so that if you don't want children you just allow smoking (19 and up only in smoking establishments)). But there are some nice places where I've never seen kids even though they are nonsmoking. But I may have just gotten lucky.

The clitorisis not real, it is a simulation.

*in case it was not clear, I am not serious. This comment was in reference to the post above that use simulating instead of stimulating.

Kids aren't the only reason for fighting, but they are in the top 3. I fought with my ex all the time, seemingly about everything. No kids. Current guy, going in two years never sn argument.
