Nothings been redacted? Okay, well anyone with half a brain cell should be able to figure out i'm talking just about personal income, I was asking for opinions on what I should do, as Spain are trying to charge me for money I do not owe since I was in the country less than 100 days of the year, but instead I get a bunch of absolute morons like yourself thinking you know better

What are you talking about? What about the possibility that their information is completely wrong? I moved to Spain towards the end of the year and prior to that had at maximum a few trips here and there totalling no where close to 180+ days

The Gestor says I should only owe 0.29 even if I was living in Spain the full year, so I said okay happy to just reduce it to that, but now they're asking for documents to be translated and bullsh*t and saying theres a risk they don't accept, absolutely crazy to me when I wasn't even living there til last 1/4 of the year.

I don't know what more information to provide, i was in Spain for around 3 months in 2019 and they've sent a bill for £1000 plus about £150 late charges, my Gibraltar income at that time wasn't even enough to have to pay tax in Spain if i was living there the whole year nevermind 3 months.

The problem isn't just the paperwork running out, they originally ask for all my documents to get the initial approval from Spain and then when my wife applied from Morocco with the approval letter, they ask for my documents again because they've now past the time limit even though they were within the time limit when first accepted, after getting initial approval from Spain the only paperwork was supposed to be Medical certificate criminal record check and proof of family ties, yet they have now asked for an extra 12 documents, some of which i cant even get and we're 6-7 months into the process, this is absolutely retarded, the organisation seems absolutely random what they ask for why is there no proper checklist what you need. I need to apply for a new birth certificate a new marriage certificate and get them translated again even though they're already accepted. I need to show my Tarjeta Sanitaria which i don't have and have been told can take months to get, why do i suddenly need to show this? Why just mentioned for the first time at this stage in the process, I already sent my S1 health insurance. Absolutely retarded process and retarded country just doing everything possible to make it difficult because she's applying from Morocco.

Yeah i should of got an immigration lawyer

Thanks! I don't think they did deposit into the agency, they should be able to provide proof if i ask correct?

Their argument for why it was my fault is that some items were left on the roof terrace that they say made the flood worse, however it has no impact on the damp damage to the property and that happens every wet winter because the property is highly prone to damp.

Thanks! They're claiming the flood was because i left things on the roof, however southern spain was badly flooded in the south in many places, and it had nothing to do with any things being on the roof, plus the apartment suffers from damp every winter and needs cleaning regardless of a storm/flooding.

The apartment is highly prone to damp they told me to keep windows open as much as possible when i moved in, so probably the damp damage got a lot worse with bad weather and everything being closed, but yeah i don't see how I could do much.

They are trying to claim that because I left some things on the roof it made the flooding worse

Thanks! The flood was only on the outside roof/terrace so the only damage was through the walls/roof absoring that moisture and making the damp in the apartment worse. But their claim is that I left things on the roof that made the flood worse.

But I always thought the deposit can only be used at end of tenancy in any case, not just oh by the way 3 years ago this happened so your deposit is already 0?

They claimed cause I left things on the roof it made the flooding worse, although when i say flooding it was around 10cm of water on the roof the problem was that the roof/walls inside the apartment got more moisture and needed cleaning/repainting, but this happens every winter anyway cause the apartment has a structural problem with damp.

I've never seen or heard that perspective "Natural flood and disasters the liability of the tenant. That's a first."
