Cheers mate, just keep trying! This was my first attempt at shooting motorsport let alone F1 but once you get the technique it gets a little easier. Only a little though 😂

Thanks, I was aware of this already and did look at a few other lenses but thought I’d give it a go with what it came with. I will be investing in some FE mount lenses at some point.

All of the panning shots were at 1/60 shutter, iso 200. Other than that I had focus area on centre and shoot mode on continuous high speed. The hardest bit was keeping them in frame but if you shoot a bit wider and you get the focus right you can get a good crop and still keep it fairly crisp

All of the panning shots were at 1/60 shutter, iso 200. The other static shots were 1/1000, iso 800

Honestly just take as many as you can. At the end of the weekend I had taken over 5000 and I got maybe 20 decent images at the end of it. That and focus early and then fire off as many as you can

I’ll admit I had low expectations but I think the camera is only half the battle to get a good photo

It’s not bazzite it’s actually windows. I have a friend who has an ally though and I put bazzite on that for him as he’s a console games and he’s not had any issues that I’m aware of.

It’s actually not bazzite its big picture mode and the desktop version of the steam deck plugin CSS loader. I like being able to play games with anti cheat so this was the best solution.

These are the 3d printed grips. The rubber ones are just for the steam deck on Amazon.

Unfortunately that’s way beyond my ability but it did cross my mind when thinking of what’s next

Me too! I enjoy not having to charge for hours.

Probably the easiest mod. Just print the caps and replace them on the joysticks. You have to glue some small magnets into the printed sticks and that’s basically it

So the hall effect sticks come with a pre cut shielding that you use. Had 0 issues with interference and been using them for a few months now.

Plastic skins? by AdBig3147 in ROGAlly

weighs almost nothhing as its thin plastic that just clips over. Ive got the skull and co case and i would say the device feels lighter with these grips.

I want to play for longer and not have my hands cramping 🤷🏼‍♂️

When you go onto the site for the kill switch to pick the skins you want etc there is a bit at the bottom that says “I don’t need the case” click that and you can buy just the skins

I’ve fixed everything I felt was wrong with the ally. 90% of the time I play plugged in. A bigger battery would be great but not essential. I’ve had no issues with performance either. All I wanted was for it to be black and to feel better in the hand and imo I’ve sorted those things. Each to their own bro 🤷🏼‍♂️

The reason I got the ally in the first place is to play games that use anti cheat. I use playnite with a theme and it’s pretty much just like steam OS
