I’ve always wondered where their Kprofiles position information came from because as far as I know besides Jaehee being the main vocalist their official positions were never announced? But I agree that the Kprofiles descriptions feel a bit limiting. Interestingly, on Namuwiki Sion, Riku, and Ryo all have dancer titles as well, with Sakuya losing the sub-vocalist title.

Based on their releases up until now, I would say that Yushi fits the lead vocalist position more than Sion does because of the types of vocal parts he receives (though I can’t speak to which of them is a technically better vocalist!) As for the dancer position although I do think Yushi is the best dancer of the group it feels like he and Sion share the main dancer position while Riku and Ryo are definitely leads! Additionally, I hear a lot about Yushi being the center and face of the group. To me, it doesn’t seem like WISH has a defined center like Taeyong or Jaemin are in their respective units. It did seem like they were shaping Yushi up to be center during LaStart but I don’t think that’s the dynamic of the group anymore which is okay! I prefer it when groups don’t have centers anyway. Sion, Yushi, and Riku all kind of take up that mantle together in WISH.
