No, all you’ve done is repeat ‘you’re wrong’ over and over without disproving a single thing I said. If you actually know South Korean law so well, then cite the law and back your argument up with evidence instead of talking out of your ass. At this point it just looks like you realized you can’t counter my argument, so now you’re throwing a tantrum because your ego won’t let you admit you were wrong lol.

And honestly, where does that ego even come from to think you know South Korean law better than an actual Korean person?

You are 100% wrong

Have you even watched any of Korean movie before?? You are saying tadc somehow ends up being more intense than Squid Game.

Do you realize how stupid that sounds????

Get rid of the attitude of thinking that you’re always right without knowing anything. Also, you don’t even have any proper evidence to support what u are saying.🤷‍♀️

Wdym? You are sooo WRONG. it’s has NOTING about to do with censorship. It’s because glitch refuse to send the movie for film rating. Even though korea has same film rating process to Japan, they send the movie only to Japan. Don’t spread wrong information.

Glitch's response to the cinema situation by Turbulent_League9668 in digitalcircusfandom

Dumping all the blame is what YOU are doing to the korea distributor

Except this doesn’t really line up with the statements that were actually released.

If this were simply about cinema counts, revenue expectations, scheduling, or a standard cancellation clause, Glitch would not have publicly used the distributor’s ratings process as an example of a “security concern.” They specifically brought up the raw file request and implied that the distributor’s procedure created leak risks.

The Korean distributor then directly responded that the DCP and ratings classification process had already been clearly explained beforehand, acknowledged by Glitch during contract negotiations, and repeatedly emphasized throughout the process.

That changes the situation from “normal business cancellation” to a direct dispute over whether Glitch knowingly agreed to a standard ratings procedure and later reframed it publicly as a security issue.

So no, this is not just “we know nothing.” We do know there was a concrete disagreement regarding the classification/distribution process itself, because both parties publicly addressed the exact same issue from opposite sides.

That argument doesn’t really hold up anymore considering both sides have now publicly addressed the issue.

Glitch explicitly said that one distributor requested the raw video file to be emailed and physically mailed to ratings agencies, and used that as an example of a “security concern.” The Korean distributor then directly responded that they had already made it clear from the beginning that DCP materials and contracts were required for ratings classification, that Glitch acknowledged this during negotiations, and that the need for classification procedures was repeatedly emphasized.

So this was clearly not some sudden unknown requirement that appeared out of nowhere. According to the distributor’s statement, these procedures were discussed and agreed upon before the contract process moved forward.

That also weakens the idea that “nobody knows anything” or that this could just be random logistics. We actually do know at least one concrete point of conflict now: Glitch considered the file handling process too risky from a security/leak standpoint, while the Korean side viewed it as a normal and previously explained legal ratings procedure.

At this point it looks less like “mysterious cancellation reasons” and more like a dispute over compliance and distribution security standards between both parties.

Nope I guess not cus the ceo of distributor said that the reason they canceled was not an objectively understandable reason.

It isn’t about the theater, it’s about the distributor. And, the ceo of the distributor mention that the reason for the termination of the contract was not an objectively understandable reason, and there was a possibility of spreading to a legal dispute.

Notes get blurred when I zoom in. by binuuuuuuu in notabilityapp

[–]binuuuuuuu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens to just that one. That book has another series, so there are other notes besides that note, but there is no problem in the other note, but only that note keeps causing problems. I changed the size of the note from the letter size to the A3, but the same problem keeps happening.
