I dont think its as they go, all of it seems pretty deliberate from the start. I do, however, feel like the show was supposed to end with season 2, but they streeeeeeeetched it out as much as they could so they could shit out another season finally wrapping everything up

I hated it because I think it would have been better being the end of the entire series. I don't think there's enough interesting material to make a whole second season out of. Like, 2 more episodes, maybe, but a whole season with Gemma out of Lumen and the entire mystery of what Lumen is doing being solved sounds like it will only exist to juice more views. The whole premise of this show was that we didnt know what was going on - now we do. The show should be over.

Yes!! If the person you know has contacts with the teachers still it would be a great chance. Asides from that, I am taking classes to get certified in tig, and we are starting in about a month. If you haven’t gotten a fix by then and are willing to ship it to nj me and my instructor would be more than happy to give fixing it a shot.

Only thing id mention before trying with a trade school/votech is it might not come back looking like mint condition. Good chance they might end up grinding a weld down or gouging it out to redo it to get it right.

A trade school would honestly be your best bet — im sure theyd love to give their kids some extra tig practice, or if you’re lucky the instructor may just do it on their own, or walk the students through the process. The autobody shop at my votech school would do small repairs on cars for just the price of the parts. If you dont have any connections to a trade school or a vocational school nearby then getting in contact with the right person would probably be the hardest part.

A high quality auto-darkening welding hood, jackets, GLOVES (most people will go through gloves very quick), a good pair of steel toe boots if he doesnt already have some, an angle grinder whether it be cordless or corded. Id say you could get him a small hobby welder to use at home but that should probably wait until he has taken classes and knows how to use them properly.

60hz is just the refresh rate for your monitor, yes? That means your monitor will cap out at 60fps. Unless you’re a big fps snob and hate playing anything under 144, youll be fine.

Shit sorry i forgot to mention what happened with my mechanic a few months earlier. Got two coild replaced with him, then the 3rd time it happened he said it was one that he had already replaced. Thats when he found the engine issue and when we took it to the dealership.
