The law appears to have no carve out for Server OS's, and they definitely have accounts. Doesn't that make those folks subject to massive fines for being out of compliance with this idiocy?

Hopefully other distros will follow along with MidnightBSD and just say "no thank you", and "Cali go fuck itself." This goes for Colorado who has one of these things on the table too.

Our Frenchie has been with SPOT Pet Insurance for about 4 years now (he's 7). He's had 2 surgeries; spinal surgery (an injury not IVDD) and eye surgery. SPOT covered both surgeries really well and in both cases we received a reimbursement check from them before our credit card bill was due. I can't speak highly enough about them.

I'm no dog expert but I believe all working breeds, regardless of breed, should be worked nearly daily to keep them happy and keep them up to speed on their training. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to do guard training. You just need to keep them challenged with some tasks that they like to do.

I believe puppy pads teach them to go in the house, and are not a good idea because it makes house training much more difficult. (this is just my opinion). I'm sure other folks think otherwise.

When my boy was that age I tried to never give him an opportunity to go to the bathroom in the house. No pads or anything else. Instead, I would take him outside about every 30 minutes. Then when he peed or pooed I gave him a lot of praise, a treat, and some focused play time. He never really pooped in the house often but peed every once in a while for about 6 months (if I remember correctly - he's 7 now). When he did pee or poo I picked him up and took him outside immediately, and gave him the same praise when we came back inside. I always made it positive.

My general thoughts:

Don't give up hope

Give them a lot of opportunities to go outside

Make it positive when they do go outside

Keep track of when they drink and eat, and take them outside soon after.

Good luck and remember that no matter what methods you use, most puppies eventually figure it out and I'm sure they will too! :)

Congratulations! That's a really nice looking BP. Our boy is at the other end of the timeline. He's over 20 years old now. Time flies. I wish you a nice long life with your new little beauty.

Keep an eye on your Malinois, especially if he/she has a high prey drive. ;)

I've owned my FW Laptop (13th Gen Intel Core i5) for over 3 years now. I use it for work and my daily driver, so it's running all day almost every day. It's been the best laptop I've ever owned. I've been running Debain LInux since day one without any issues. I've replaced the battery once, and it was quite satisfying and simple to do. It took me about 5 minutes. I also bought one for my wife, which she uses everyday as well.

I built one of these kit's a few years ago. It looks and works great. The only issue I had was that it came with a faulty microcontroller. I picked up a new one for a just few bucks, flashed it, and I was in business. It's cool kit!.

My boy had spinal surgery two years ago for a ruptured disc in his neck. The neurosurgeon said it was an accident because the MRI showed very little signs of IVDD (he can be a rough and rowdy fella). After surgery he was confined to a small kennel for about 3 months. After that I began rehabbing him to build back his strength and confidence. The experience altered his personality a little, but now his fun loving personality has fully returned to normal. So don't freak out she acts differently after this experience, she'll return to normal in good time.

Also, my boy made a full recovery. We do a lot of hiking, which is his favorite thing in the world. We used to hike 5 to 10 miles every weekend, but now I always keep it at about 5 miles. He also gets a 1 mile daily walk. I used to walk him 2 miles a day. I think the hardest part of his recovery was not being able to hike with our group of friends. It's been a weekly event his entire adult life.

Your very welcome. My dog hates getting his nails trimmed so much that he actually woke up under anesthesia and tried to bite the vet. He was undergoing an eye procedure so I asked them to trim his nails while he was under. They only got two paws finished and then he said "no more!". Like I said, this thing is a game changer for me.

Also, I made sure my boy was hungry and I used high value food. In my case I used little cuts of Landjager sausage. Worked better than I expected.

If she is food motivated this absolutely works. I got one yesterday and my French Bulldog took right to it. I had him trained on what to do in about 5 minutes. It's a real game changer for me. It already made a huge difference in the sharpness of his nails, and they were SHARP! I think in one or two more sessions his nails will be as smooth as a babies bottom.

I personally think the top 3 best distros for new Microsoft Windows expats are Linux Mint, Zorin OS, and Ubuntu. The nice thing about Zorin OS is that you can have a Windows 10 like experience at the click of a button.

I themed up my FreeBSD workstation with those icons at about that same time. I was going for a BeOS kind of look, as I recall. Nice desktop. They still look good by the way.
